It's over for The Connors at ABC. The network has canceled the Roseanne spinoff effective after the upcoming seventh season.
The last season will have 13 episodes bringing the series total to 106 episodes after the series finale on May 22. The Conners premiered in 2018 after Roseanne Bar was fired from the reboot of her eponymous sitcom after making racist remarks about an Obama administration staffer. The series was rebranded and Roseanne's character was killed off before the first episode aired. The ending may be bittersweet for John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf and Sara Gilbert, who have been playing the characters Dan Conner, Jackie Harris and Darlene Conner since 1998.
