Yes I might catch ringworm, E.coli and salmonella... but I love my pets too much to stop this controversial habit

What do I have in common with Nicola Peltz Beckham? She is a rich, luscious, twenty-something model, actress and heiress, married to Brooklyn Beckham, and I'm...well, none of the above. And yet looking at an Instagram post of Nicola kissing her Chihuahua Nala, I realise that in fact we are soul sisters, both of us completely unafraid of the 600 or so species of bacteria and other microorganisms that live in dogs' mouths. For I too kiss my dogs. In fact every day, I greet the morning with a ritualistic kissing, biting and licking of ears, necks and faces. No, I don't lick my two dogs, obviously, I pucker up and kiss the top of their heads. But licking is how dogs show affection and I appreciate their canine kisses.
Captain Tom Moore's daughter earned more than £70K in salary and expenses, but charities to charity fell, according to accounts, as the lockdown hero's family's blamed the investigation into how it was handled for the income deficit

During the pandemic, one hundred-year-old Captain Tom (left) raised £38 million of the NHS, but Hannah (left and right) and Colin Ingram-Moore have been chastised for the way they ran a charity set up in his memory. Accounts for the The Captain Tom Foundation have just been announced, indicating that the charity's income for 18 months was less than half of that of the previous 12 months. In the 18 months from June 2021 to November last year, the company increased from £1.096, 526 in 12 months to £402,854 in the 18 months from May 2021 to October 2021. According to the study, the Charity Commission's intervention had 'a major adverse effect on the charity and our ability to raise new funds.' Hannah and Colin Ingram-Moore sparked outrage over the unauthorised spa and pool extension they built without planning permission at their £1.2 million family home in Bedfordshire (inset).
