Succession swept the board at last night's Emmy Awards thanks to its Shakespearean storylines, captivating scripts, and a star-studded cast. At last night's Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, the hit HBO series, which came to an end last year, received six coveted awards, including Best Drama for the third year in a row. During its four-season run, viewers were on tenterhooks to see which of media mogul Logan Roy's four children would be selected to lead his company empire. Logan's son-in-law, Tom Wambsgan (played by Matthew Macfadyen), was appointed CEO in a shocking development after feuding siblings Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv ( Sarah Snook ), and Connor (Alan Ruck). Matthew Macfadyen and Saran Snook have also triumphed over their co-stars in real life, with the on-screen husband-and-wife winning 17 awards between them. Here's a look at some of the Succession cast's most recent triumph tales.
