In an anonymous statement posted on Friday (right), the female accuser alleged Cole (left) coerced her into having sex multiple times when she was a juvenile after she had joined the NHL. Cole was accused of emotional and sexual harassment, and she said that the NHL must keep itself and its players accountable for creating an environment of misogynistic and predatory conduct. The player was suspended by the Tampa Bay Lightning while an investigation was underway. Cole, 33, said in a letter sent by agent Kevin Magnuson that he denied the charges and that he would work with the league, squad, and their legal teams as part of the forthcoming probe. Cole, 33, made his NBA debut with St. Louis in 2010 and has played 780 games in the league.
