Rodrn was yelling at him, and he was angered by the pitcher's behaviours. After the game, Neris said he and Rodrez are best friends, and he played down the situation. 'It's part of the game, emotional, like this one today.' Neris said that the reason was to be sceptic. But it isn't personal. I'm only trying to [wake] up my team.' Eugenio Suárez, Seattle's third baseman, was in the on-deck circle at the time, and he said Neris directed a homophobic slur at Rodrez.
