March 20, 2023
Emma Stone was in full Swiftie mode at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour opener on March 17th. The actress appeared at the kickoff concert in Glendale, Arizona, and was having the time of her life throughout the performance. Stone is seen passionately singing along with Swift's 2008 hit "You Belong With Me" in a now-viral TikTok video posted by a fellow attendee, channeling her "Easy A" character Olive Penderghast. Despite the fact that the clip only lasts a few seconds, Stone's ecstatic as she belts out every lyric while jumping up and down. The caption read: "Emma Stone's gd mind over the YBWM."
One of her mother's two children, Jaya and Ellery, were among Swift's other well-known relatives, including the Haim sisters, who appeared in her "Bejeweled" music video; and Hayley Williams, who opened the concert with her band Paramore.
Meet Me At The Altar Rip Apart Nostalgia

When the dynamic punk rock trio Meet Me @ the Altar, made up of lead vocalist Edith Victoria, guitarist and bassist Téa Campbell, and drummer Ada Juarez, discuss Zoom with MTV News on Tuesday afternoon, they were giddy. Edith's vibrant green and blue braids flip around as she speaks, and Juarez's eyes are lively, while Edith's beautiful green and blue braids turn on as she speaks. The band is obviously excited about their debut album, Past // Present // Future, which is out today (March 10) as well as their evolution as musicians. "We wanted to write something that excites," Campbell says before starting to write the book. Victoria says, "We wanted to write things that people could understand quickly," she says, with Juarez's comment that "if a song doesn't'flow, it's not going to be so difficult" for listeners.
The three band members' geographical separation for the interview harkens back to their roots as online friends who connected over a shared love of music in 2015. But things are different now: the trio appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and are embarking on their first headlining tour in support of their debuting record. Through all of these achievements, in addition to being co-signed by Paramore's Hayley Williams and Halsey, they are just as close, if not closer, to one another as they were back then. Campbell explains how they're able to deal with the challenges that come with being in a band. "I really believe that the way we formed has set us up for a situation where we're never going to see what most bands see." "It's not like we're just business [partners]. We started out as friends. We were young people with a shared passion for music and formed the band around this. Campbell says that communication will always help us get through anything." Campbell continues to say that human contact is "huge," which has helped them get through turbulent times in which they've "took down and talk to one another."

At the top of the chorus on Paramore's hit song "This Is Why," Hayley Williams cries, "You say the coast is clear / But you won't see me out."
Williams started feeling alone after the coronavirus pandemic began in 2020 in Following 2017. She told the BBC that she loved time away from touring and being in the public eye. "I learned a lot about myself and I think I needed it." Anyone who had to spend time alone was like, "I'm sure I learned a lot about myself." I don't believe I would have slowed down. Williams said, "I don't think I'd have spent time with my family."

www.popsugar.co.uk,
November 11, 2022
Hayley Williams is making sure her concerts are safe places to be. Williams halted the performance in Toronto, halted a confrontation that had broken out in the middle of a 7 Nov. Paramore show. Some fans chronicled the pause in a series of videos that show how it all happened.
At one point, she said, "Stop." "Everyone OK?" She noticed that some supporters were yelling in the crowd. "Oh man, what do you guys think this is, like, a terror show? Bro, we're not a hardcore band, so come on," she said. "We're going to dance tonight, we're gonna have fun, or we're not going to do it." She then called out the people responsible for the chaos. "You OK?Are you OK?Do you want to split up? I'm right here behaving like a teacher. "All have been detained."
Hayley Williams of Paramore appears on "Misery Company" with TikTok Sensation's PinkPantheress
www.popsugar.co.uk,
October 17, 2022
Never meet your idols, according to them, but singer PinkPantheress' comment was taken straight out of the water after she joined Paramore's Hayley Williams on stage at the Austin City Limits festival. Williams performed "Misery Business" on Tuesday, during the event's second show of the season.
On the stage, a clearly emotional PinkPantheress was clutching her handbag and wearing no shoes as she joked that they were hurting her. Williams, who rose to notoriety after her single "Pain" went viral on TikTok in January 2021, has credited Williams for her blossoming into music, so there was no doubt this was going to be a momentous occasion for her.
Paramore Returns, Aly & AJ Bring Vibes, And More At Austin City Limits

A lot has been said of Austin, Texas, dubbing it the "Live Music Capital of the World," but it lived up to its name during the first weekend of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, which took place on Friday (October 7) to Sunday (October 9). There were tunes blasting out of car windows, country crooners performing on the patios of restaurants, DIY rappers standing up on the streets, and a variety of genres arising from Zilker Park, where the festival sprawled out across eight stages. Nearly 75,000 people attended one of the most diverse lineups in recent memory, including Lil Nas X, P!nk, SZA, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Kacey Musgraves.
The most delectable part of ACL had to be the huge barbecue Pitmasters tent and its surrounding aromas, marking the first time that the festival had dedicated so much territory to barbecuing. The soaring aroma of sizzling meats was matched only by the Texas sun as festival goers braved 89-degree weather to see their favorite performers, many of whom shared the same sentiment: "It's fucking hot." Here's a look at everything that went wrong over the weekend.

Since joining Paramore in 2007, Taylor York and Hayley Williams have been performing together on stage. They announced that after more than 15 years of creative collaboration, they're officially dating in a 29 September interview with The Guardian. Reps for York and Williams did not respond immediately to POPSUGAR's plea for comment.
Williams was previously married to Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory, but the pair divorced in 2017. Paramore's 2017 album, "After Laughter," was inspired by their marriage's fallout. Fans began to suspect Williams and York were a couple after posting similar photographs on their Instagram Stories in 2018.

Although she did not reveal specifics of their dating, the news was no surprise, considering that rumors of the duo being linked romantically have existed for years. Pale Waves have never been more popular. The English indie-rock band is spending their summer on their North American tour and putting the finishing touches on their highly awaited third album, Unwanted. Heather Baron-Gracie has officially swapped in her dark locks for a bleach-blonde bob, setting the tone for their forthcoming collection of breakneck pop-punk ahead of its debut on August 12. All things considered, it's odd that their new song, "Reasons to Live," a euphoric, arena-ready love song, was inspired by one of her darkest moments. "I was lost." Baron-Gracie says I didn't even know if I wanted to do music anymore." "My partner Kelsey came into my life and completely changed it, gave me a completely different outlook on life and, fortunately, saved me in a way."
For the first time in four years, Billie Eilish will perform "Misery Company."
www.popsugar.co.uk,
April 27, 2022
Billie Eilish has sway. Coachella's second weekend as Headlining Coachella on April 28, the singer persuaded Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams to bring "Misery Business" out of retirement. The pair also closed the set with Eilish's freight train of a single, "Happier Than Ever" in lieu of a acoustic interpretation of the band's pop-punk anthem.
Despite the fact that the song is one of the band's most recognisable, Paramore has announced that they will no longer perform "Misery Business" at a Nashville concert in 2018. "I'm sorry, you're nothing more / I'm sorry, that won't change" when Williams said, "I'm sorry, you're nothing more." "Calling someone a wh*re isn't very cool," she said at the time.

Linda Linda Lindas' Los Angeles-based The Linda Lindas are a punk to the core. So when the Los Angeles Public Library's Cypress Park branch asked the band if they wanted to perform there as part of their Asian American Pacific Islander heritage exhibits, it was a simple decision. They saw it as a fun way to raise concerns of racial injustice (the band members are Asian American and/or Latinx) and promote equality, as well as a way to help one of their favorite libraries.

'Some Nights' redefined Pop-Rock,' And Jack Antonoff's Reintroduced himself

Welcome to New Retro Week, a celebration of the greatest artists, hits, and cultural events that made 2012 a seminal year in pop history. MTV News is back to see what lies ahead: These essays explore how today's blueprint was conceived a decade ago. Now is the time machine.
It's difficult to recall memories of 2012 without Fun's Some Nights spinning in the background. The pop-rock band's frenetic, dramatic sophomore album came as a atom bomb, with lead singles "We Are Young" and "Some Nights" eliciting fears of how both genres might look when combined for a new decade.
