On Thursday night, internationally recognised Australian hits Talk to Me and Alice Hart's Lost Flowers dominated the 2024 AACTA Industry Awards. The event, held on the Gold Coast at the Home of the Arts (HOTA) and hosted by American entertainer Harry Connick Jr., highlighted Australia's worldwide recognition and achievement. Danny and Michael Philippou's Talk to Me got a nod in the film category, with their smash hit indie horror film taking out Best Editing, Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Screenplay, Best Makeup, and Best Hair and Makeup.
