Princess Martha Louise of Norway has been whisked away on a 'surprise honeymoon' to Turkey by her new husband 'Shaman' Durek Verrett - weeks after their controversial wedding.  The spiritual newlyweds, who claim to have first met during ancient times, married in a huge ceremony in Geiranger in Norway in August, witnessed by 350 guests. Two months later, and the couple are clearly going stronger than ever - with Durek treating his new bride to a private villa by the sea in Turkey. Pictures posted by the Shaman to his Instagram account showed the loved-up couple slow-dancing together, and relaxing by the side of the pool.

The 52-year-old, who is fourth in line to the Norwegian crown, was dressed in a pink trouser suit as she stepped out of the Hotel Union, in the picturesque fjord-side village of Geirganger, where she had tied the knot yesterday. Norway's Royal Family have shared a stunning family photo from Princess Märtha Louise's wedding day to Durek Verrett on Saturday - but there were some relatives missing from the snap. The loved-up newlyweds posed with their wedding party, family and close friends after they tied the knot yesterday during a ceremony at a hotel in the small Norwegian town of Geiranger. Beaming alongside the couple were Märtha's three daughters Maud Angelica, 21, Leah Isadora, 19 and Emma Tallulah, 15, as well as h er parents, King Harald and Queen Sonja. Also included in the photo were close friends Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden and Anne-Kari Bøhaugen, who was reportedly maid-of-honour, and Märtha Louise's brother Prince Haakon, his wife Princess Mette-Marit and their children Ingrid Alexandra , 20 and Sverre Magnus, 18. However, the photo revealed the relatives who didn't make the cut for the lavish 350-guest event. Senior members of Norway's Royal Family partied into the early hours of this morning as they celebrated Princess Martha Louise controversial marriage to American shaman Durek Verrett (pictured left). King Harald , who is 87 years old and in frail health, did not return to his royal yacht, which was anchored by the shoreline of the Geirangerfjord until after 1am. Queen Sonja, who is also 87, told newsman waiting at the quayside they had enjoyed the gala dinner. Heir-apparent Crown Prince Haakon, his wife Princess Mette-Marit and their children Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus, stayed until the end - leaving the party at 3am. They were pictured waving to newsmen as they headed to the royal yacht, that has been protected by a Norwegian Navy vessel. Princess Mette-Marit said: 'There were many highlights [at the wedding]. Martha Louise, 52, and Durek Verrett, 49, who claims to be a sixth-generation shaman from California, tied the knot in the picturesque small town of Geiranger, one of Norway's major tourist attractions located on a fjord with stunning views. Following festivities that started on Thursday, the actual wedding ceremony took place in a large white tent set up on a lush lawn. Guests told media outlets that Norwegian and U.S. artists performed at the event along with a gospel choir and a singer representing Norway's indigenous Sami people.
