Justin Madabuike, a defensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens, has been named a new $100 million man. According to ESPN, the four-year deal is actually worth $98 million, with $75.5 million in guarantees. According to ESPN, Madabuike owes $53.5 million at signing. The deal, perhaps more significant, gives Baltimore an additional $11 million in cap space for a Super Bowl candidate. "Justin is one of the best defensive tackles in the entire NFL, and a pillar on our defense,' general manager Eric DeCosta said in a tweeting three days after slashing the franchise tag on Madabuike.' We are thrilled for Justin and his family, and we are equally grateful for our fan base.' This is a great way to start the new league year!' The new league season begins next Wednesday, and the Ravens had already taken the necessary measures to discourage Madubuike from leaving when they introduced the franchise tag on. The tag for defensive tackles came at a one-year price of just over $22 million.
Inside the Baltimore Ravens' incredible (and pointless!) Baltimore hasn't lost a warmup game in eight years, so why bother so much, and when will the 24-game season come to an end?

Most NFL teams obviously love winning in preseason, but the Baltimore Ravens' win could mean a lot more. The Ravens halted their preseason winning streak to 24 with a 20-19 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night. On Monday night, they will face the Washington Commanders in a thrilling matchup. With the streak that stretches back to 2015, the Ravens had already written themselves into NFL history, dating back to 2015. In a 20-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons that culminated in a missed two-point conversion, the last time Baltimore lost during the preseason was on September 3, 2015. For the time being, the loss would be the last. The reign of the unbeatable Ravens began as preseason began last year.
Without star QB Lamar Jackson, the Ravens clinch playoff position, while the Texans snap a nine-game skid

In a 17-9 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday, Tyler Huntley threw a first-half touchdown pass and the Baltimore defense held the Atlanta Falcons out of the end zone, guaranteeing the Ravens' playoff position. About a half-hour after Baltimore (10-5) took care of the Falcons, New England lost to Cincinnati, dropping the Ravens in the playoffs. The Ravens defeated quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has been out for three games due to a knee injury. For Baltimore, Gus Edwards ran for 99 yards and J.K. Dobbins rushed for 59 yards. Huntley's 6-yard touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson in the second quarter was the first TD catch by a Ravens wide receiver since Week 3.
