After an app upgrade, service NSW customer records were revealed

Service NSW's chief executive Greg Wells said an update to the app on March 20 could have revealed their details for 90 minutes in an email sent to 3,700 of their customers. 'Unfortunately, the upgrade resulted in some customers' information being visible to other customers who had registered on the website between 1.20 p.m. and 2.54 p.m.,' Mr Wells said. Driver licenses, car registration, children's names, or cell phone numbers could be included in the privacy violation.
