Republicans want to outlaw DEI in medical schools netting more than $180 billion a year: Any school with diversity departments or that'discriminates on race', as well as 'forcing' liberal convictions

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 19, 2024
A coalition of senators has introduced a bill that would prohibit diversity, equity, and inclusion from medical school programs. 'American medical schools are the best in the world, with no place for discrimination,' Greg Murphy, a practicing urologist and North Carolina Republican representative, said. The EDUCATE Act requires medical colleges and accreditation agencies to uphold colorblind admissions processes and bans student coercion of students who hold such political views.' Divers provide medicine, but not if it's achieved by exclusionary methods.'

In a sketch mocking HER for questioning the 'vile answers from the university presidents' in Congress, Elise Stefanik's office rips SNL's "unfunny, morally bankrupt 'comedians' for "spewing antisemitic garbage.'

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 11, 2023
Elise Stefanik's staff is firing back at NBC's Saturday Night Live's 'appalling' sketch depicting evidence from Harvard, UPenn, and MIT's presidents regarding anti-Semitism at the country's top universities. Stefanik's line of inquiry in the sketch came at a hearing last week where she placed the liberal university's presidents in the hot seat, asking whether calling for the genocide of Jews' would breach their schools' code of conduct. The presidents were described as anti-Semites and chastised for failing to immediately condemn any calls for genocide. And although SNL thought the congressional testimony were amusing, Liz Magill of UPenn, who was forced to resign due to the backlash, was a natural consequence.

After failed to gain sufficient funding for a House speaker, Republicans mocked their own shambolic bid to select a Speaker, leaving Congress befuddled for ten days. 'We look like a bunch of idiots,' says Republican president Steve Scalise.'

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 13, 2023
The House is still without a speaker, and House Republicans continue to hurl insults at their own conference in the face of their inability to unite behind a leader that will allow them to function. Their speaker has been deposed, the top voter-getter has been barred, and there are no guarantees that anyone will get the 217 votes required to guarantee a vote in the House of Commons. Rep. Steve Scalise's resignation gives Rep. Jim Jordan a chance to run in the race.
