EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: The Duke of Sussex is happily married to Meghan, but his close friend who also found love with an American former actress and set up home in California is nursing a broken heart. I hear that Arthur Landon, 42, has split up with his fiancee, Alessandra Balazs, 35. 'They parted ways some time ago,' confirms a friend. The film producer, who inherited most of his brigadier father Tim's £200million fortune, plus an enchanting 4,250 acre Hampshire estate, defended Harry after their 2012 trip to Las Vegas when the prince was notoriously photographed at a naked pool party. He and Alessandra sat at the front of St George's Chapel for Harry and Meghan's wedding in 2018. And Landon remained close friends with Harry after 'Megxit' as he has a home in Los Angeles.

Kate Moss has earned her reputation as the ultimate fashion icon, with 72 Vogue covers, her own line with Topshop, and a career spanning five decades. No matter where the Croydon-born beauty is, she is always dressed well, from her nineties reign as Queen of the Primrose Hill set and Britpop It girl to a Cotswolds pile. The runway queen, who turns 50 today, is the epitome of Cool Britannia and has been a muse for several of the modern fashion masters, including Lee 'Alexander' McQueen, Gianni Versace, Karl Lagerfield, and Kim Jones. Kate was one of the first people to wear a 'naked dress' in 1993, a surprise to delicate temperaments alike. Left: In Milan, 1991, she had attended her first runway performance. Who is Rosa Monckton MBE? Diana's unending gratitude - as well as one of a large circle of friends all supporting her princess before her death - was a close friend of her

One of Princess Diana's many friendships, as well as the one most closely linked to her today, was her friendship with businesswoman Rosa Monckton. Dominic Lawson, a journalist from Los Angeles, had met Diana in 1991 through L'cia Flecha de Lima, the Brazilian ambassador to London, who had been a close friend. There was a nearly immediate link, as Rosa revealed in a 2017 interview with The Times. 'The reason our friendship was so strong was because she was so ill at the time,' she explained.
These star-studded front rows are fighting the fashion titans behind these star-studded front rows

Being on the right designer's front row affords them global recognition, rather than having to learn a line. It also gilds their reputation by aligning them with the world's most coveted luxury brands. Since few actors are able to take on new filming opportunities or promote existing films by the usual lineup of interviews and red carpet appearances, most actors have time to kill. What better way to keep yourself in the public eye than by jetting off to Milan or Paris Fashion Week on a lavish, all-expenses paid trip? The empty diaries on the A-list are good news for luxury brands, at least for those that can afford it. A celebrity-packed front row is a no-brainer, particularly in the social media age, where the starst are likely to go viral.
Claudia Schiffer's Rare Runway Appearance Gianni Versace's Tribute is a rare runway tribute
www.popsugar.co.uk,
September 24, 2023
Some things never change. Claudia Schiffer, the late Gianni Versace, returned to the runway on September 22nd as a0000 salute. For the first time since seeing Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Helena Christensen for an homage at Milan Fashion Week in 2018, the '90s icon closed the Versace show at Milan Fashion Week. She walked down in a shimmering green and silver checkered gown, bringing together models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. "It's just molded into my body." It fits me like a glove," she told Vogue of her outfit. Schiffer's presence at the exhibition was the first full circle moment, acting as a definite reference to Gianni Versace's 1995 spring show, which she also closed.
On the runway, the Schiffer shone, but it was the end of what ended up being a whole collection based on Gianni's original exhibit. The idea, which was brought to life by Donatella Versace, paid tribute to her brother's original mod looks by designing finely tailored silhouettes, colorful free-flowing silks, and checkerboard patterns. Of course, that didn't stop her from adding her own creative touches, including the sparkly embellishments on Jenner's collar and the delicate beaded detailing on Schiffer's reimagined gown. The Schiffer has long been regarded as one of Gianni's original muses. Donatella said that Schiffer would "always be an inspiration" in February 2022, after the model lauded the Hadid sisters' re-creation of her 1995 Versace ad with Sylvester Stallone. "Donatella is just a lovely, warm-hearted, subtle, genuine, nice person who really does care," Schiffer told Vogue. "It's just a beauty show and ad campaign." It's much more than that." Read on to see how one of Versace's most popular models returned to the runway after all these years.

The first Monday in May is a special occasion in the fashion industry. It's Met Gala - the fashion extravaganza that brings together the world's best-dressed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The event, as it appears, is a fundraising effort. But it's really a chance for the world to halt, stare, and give their verdict on what some of the world's best-paid celebrities have opted to wear. By the way, what they wear isn't up for grabs. Each year the gala, which has been chaired by Vogue's Anna Wintour since 1995, chooses a theme that is deemed appropriate. They have included 'camp' and "Catholicism," among other notable designers, such as Gianni Versace in 1997. However, this year's was dedicated to one of fashion's most influential designers, Karl Lagerfeld. The German designer was best known for helming Chanel from 1983 to his death in 2019, aged 85. But he was also praised for his contributions as the creative director of Fendi, Chloe, and his eponymous company Karl Lagerfeld.
