Oliver and singer Jaymi were meant to tie the knot on Tuesday, 14 years after they met and fell in love. But tragically, that date will now mark Oliver's funeral. Paying tribute to Oliver ahead of the funeral, George took to Instagram to share pictures of his friend, as he wrote: 'Today we say farewell, for now. You are so missed x.'

Oliver Marmon, 33, died in the early hours of August 12 after plummeting 30ft from the third floor of the Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Detectives initially launched a murder investigation and 34-year-old Mr Hensley - a member of boyband Union J - was arrested in connection with his partner's death but later released without charge. The couple had been due to marry later this month. An inquest into Mr Marmon's death was opened today by Assistant Coroner of Northamptonshire Hassan Shah at Northampton Coroners Court sitting at the town's Guild Hall.

After leaving a trail of blood at the scene, a bungling cat burglar who attempted to crawl through a cat-flap was caught and jailed. Simon Highmore, 34, attempted to crawl through the six inch wide opening to gain admission to a child's house, but he wriggled free and gashed his arm. Blood spattered around the cat's roof and on cars parked at the house, and the traces of Highmore were found later by DNA analysis. He was also linked to three other raids, one at a garage in which a pressure washer and paint spray was stolen, a second break in a shed, and the stealing of a car's radio. Highmore was sentenced to 20 months in prison for a prank attempt on a forensic basis at Carlisle Crown Court.
