A look at Formula One's history books shows that few people are able to clinch the world championship with a lot of time left to spare. In his thrilling battle with Lewis Hamilton last season, Andre Verstappen needed every race, hell, every lap. This time around, there will be no such drama, no such scandal, as he has a chance to walk out of Singapore with the title stripped from him with five races remaining. Michael Schumacher made history by 2002 when there were just 17 races compared to the 22 on the calendar. With six races remaining, the legendary German driver wrapped his title up for the season in July. It's a record that hasn't been broken on this day.
