In central Brighton, a 52-year-old homeowner makes more than £6,000 a year by renting out his unused parking space. Tourists and builders can park in Gary Jones' designated parking space at his apartment in the city centre for £21 a day. For 2023, the language school director was YourParkingSpace's top earner, making £6,462 last year. In 2021, he started the 'low maintenance' business and now regrets that it was empty for four years.
