The six-episode limited series simultaneously follows Cassie's husband, played by Benedict Cumberbatch (pictured right), 47, as he battles his demons on the dangerous and intoxicating streets of '80s New York in a race to bring home his missing son. But the show's plot is not the only thing that's caused a stir because viewers have just discovered that Gaby was the star of a popular Hollywood show at the age of four.

Gaby Hoffman got candid about her experience working with Kevin Costner in her debut film back in 1989.  The 42-year-old Transparent star played Costner's young daughter in Field of Dreams and said the warm family relationship onscreen did not extend to real life during her interview with Business Insider on Thursday.  'I didn't feel paternal energy from Kevin Costner,' the actress, who was seven at the time of filming, explained. The English actor, 47, wore a black zip-up jumper under a short black double-breasted coat which he left unbuttoned. He also wore straight-legged black trousers and trainers with white soles, finishing his look with orange-tinted glasses. Netflix series Eric follows Vincent (Benedict) is a puppeteer in 1980s New York whose nine-year-old son, Edgar, goes missing. Eric is the name of Vincent's seven-foot puppet he is convinced will help him locate Edgar. Benedict was joined by a few members of the principal cast (L-R): McKinley Belcher III (Michael Ledroit), Gaby Hoffmann (Cassie Anderson), and Ivan Howe (Edgar).

On Thursday, Benedict Cumberbatch, 46, and Gaby Hoffmann, 41, were seen filming the Netflix limited series Eric in New York City. The Fantastic Beasts actor was seen dressed in a costume that seemed to be a cross between the Abominable Snowman, Sasquatch, and Sully from Monsters Inc. In one photograph, the Sherlock actor can be seen pacing down the street with the head of the costume contestant. The Transparent alum, on the other hand, wore a rust-colored scarf around her neck, an olive green trench coat, and maroon knee-high boots. Benedict Cumberbatch is scheduled to appear alongside Gaby Hoffmann in a new six-part Netflix thriller Eric. Vincent Anderson, a British actor who is on a desperate hunt to locate his missing nine-year-old son who vanished one morning on his way to school, will play the lead role. Vincent, born in 1980s New York, is one of the city's top puppeteers and the producer of the hugely popular children's television show 'Good Day Sunshine'.
