Gabriel Moreno hit a home run and was one of four players to bat in a game as the Arizona Diamondbacks leveled the World Series once more with a 9-1 victory over the Texas Rangers. Moreno's home run opened the scoring in the top of the fourth quarter after he took a solo shot at 413 feet to center field at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. The Diamondbacks will now live in Phoenix, where they will play the next three games if they win their second title.

The Arizona Diamondbacks won their first World Series in 22 years after shockingly defeating the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Championship Series. Arizona won in Game 7 of the NCLS by 4-2 overturning the Cinderella tale to the grandest stage in baseball. In Game 1 of the World Series, the Diamondbacks will meet the Texas Rangers.

Baseball fans have seen it all, or have they? Following two thrilling performances from Triple-A teams on Wednesday night, the theory was put to the test. When Ernie Clement's tipped pitch, cascaded off the bat and straight into the ground, the Columbus Clippers, the first Triple-A team, was on the road in Toledo Mud Hens. There's nothing wrong with that. Despite this, the ball didn't bounce or roll away. It remained wedged in the Toledo dirt, not even making it outside of the batter's box, right in front of the home plate.
