Week 1 of the NFL season was wild, with major injuries, turnovers galore, and last week's two game-winners giving fans at home unwarranted optimism. And all of that came from the Steelers' overtime match against the Bengals. With the first week of the season, we have already seen upsets, our first (and hopefully last) match of the season, and a slew of game winning field goals. Fans of the Packers, Patriots, and Rams all agreed to bed content, while Packers, Patriots, and Rams fans of the Packers, Patriots, and Boston Browns fell asleep in confusion and/or trepidation. Even though it's way too early to start writing teams or counting them out, we can still learn a lot from this first week of pro football.

The Raiders are officially Las Vegas's NFL squad, but to anyone familiar with the betting odds going into the season, it's the Buffalo Bills who have captured the gambling mecca's imagination. Not only are the Bills the betting favorite to win their first Super Bowl this season, but quarterback Josh Allen is being voted MVP for the first time this season, Sean McDermott is a year in the running for Coach of the Year, and Buffalo's top-rated defense has named pass rusher Von Miller, a seven-time All-Pro and former Super Bowl MVP.

Anybody who starts their season 1-0 on Thursday night will win more than just the cash. Most of the country will be analyzing what could be the next Super Bowl matchup with the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams expected to kick off the NFL season tomorrow. Odell Beckham Jr., a free agent wide receiver, will be tracking with particular attention.
