From the day i was born he was there. Roy Grillo. We did everything together from when we were babies. Building forts , playing football on the lawn , swimming , drawing , adventures we did it all. Our whole lives always there for each other. Marriages , kids , good times bad always there. That’s what being a Grillo always has been. All of us always around each other to laugh and cry , support and bust balls. Eight Grillo kids always, always always. He was my brother , my best friend my dude. My confidant. My partner in crime. I’ve lost a lot of people in my life lately. But this is by far a loss that has taken the breath out of my body. Men. If you are struggling in any way please please please tell someone. Call someone. Please. We must talk and keep talking. We must share our pain and ask for help. The hole we leave is bottomless. And friends , if someone you know is down , or suffering reach out.
