Republicans demand criminal investigation into key figure in the COVID origins scandal for his links to gain of function research in Wuhan: 'This is the closest we will get to questioning a Chinese spy'

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 1, 2024
EcoHealth Alliance President Dr. Peter Daszak - who sought federal funding for coronavirus research in Wuhan, China, before the COVID-19 pandemic - will be pressed Wednesday by Republicans. Daszak is thought to have critical knowledge about the Wuhan Institute of Virology's (WIV) extensive coronavirus efforts before the outbreak of COVID-19.  'I want to confront him on the way that he got refunded for his research,' Rep. Rich McCormick, R-Ga., told DailyMail.com exclusively ahead of Wednesday's hearing.

Republicans escalate COVID origins probe by slapping Dr. Fauci's top aide with subpoena for 'intentionally' HIDING pandemic discussions by using personal email

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 16, 2024
Republicans have escalated their investigation into the origins of COVID-19 by sending a subpoena to a former top aide of Dr. Anthony Fauci. Last week, the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic revealed that Dr. David Morens - Fauci's top aide at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) - allegedly used his personal Gmail account to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 to skirt federal transparency laws. At the time, Morens' official government work email would have been subject to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests that could have publicized his day-to-day communications. The subcommittee's chairman Rep. Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, said that Morens used Gmail to 'intentionally [subvert] federal transparency laws to shield discussions related to the origins of COVID-19.' Now, Wenstrup has sent a subpoena to Morens demanding he turn over documents from his personal email account about COVID-19, coronavirus grant funding, his communications with Fauci and former NIH Director Francis Collins, among other top health officials.

Covid lockdown architect and former NIH boss Francis Collins, 73, reveals he's battling prostate cancer

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 12, 2024
Covid lockdown advocate and former head of the National Institutes of Health Frances Collins [shown] admitted that he has been battling prostate cancer for at least a month. The doctor detailed his ordeal in a personal essay in which he described a PET scan that revealed his cancer had not spread beyond the tumor on his prostate gland, which is welcome news because the cancer has a five-year survival rate of 32 percent once it has spread to other parts of the body.

During Covid, a Swedish scientist who likened masking children to Taliban abuses claims he was fired from Harvard for supporting his home country's anti-lockdown policy

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 13, 2024
During the Covid pandemic, epidemiologist Martin Kulldorff revealed on social media that he had been fired from Harvard due to the opposition of lockdowns and vaccination regulations in the United States. In an editorial for City Journal, he chastised Harvard for a rapid suspension of in-person classes that sparked a Domino effect around the United States, which he said had since been condemned as a "colossal mistake." The former professor may have sparked some controversy when he compared children wearing masks to the Taliban's brutal treatment of women, as well as the claim that unvaccinated Americans would result in herd immunity in six months.

The former Fauci boss acknowledges that the Covid lab leak was not conspiracy based

Dr. Francis Collins, Anthony Fauci's former boss, told Congress that the Covid lab leak theory was correct, despite previously calling it a "very destructive conspiracy."

Despite spearheading attacks against scientists who had promoted the theory, Anthony Fauci's former boss Francis Collins admits that the Covid lab leak was not a conspiracy

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 15, 2024
Dr. Francis Collins [left] - Anthony Fauci's former chief, admitted to Congress that the Covid lab leak theory was legitimistic, despite previously referring to it as a "very destructive conspiracy." Dr. Collins was instrumental in disproving the belief that Covid likely escaped from a Chinese biolab [shown right], a theory that implicated the sprawling department when he took it. The NIH oversaw grants for viruses' 'gain of function' studies, which has been previously reported to make viruses more accessible and/or deadly.

Researchers in Wuhan's coronavirus lab in 2017 raised "serious safety questions," but the government censored China from protesting, according to shocking new reports

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 21, 2023
Longer than the Covid-19 pandemic, genetically engineered viruses in China's bat lab had been circulating, but they were ignored or censored. A new analysis shows how an NIH official raised serious questions about the Wuhan Institute of Virology's attempt to engineer Ebola strains in 2017.

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford University lockdown protester, enjoys the court's finding that the Biden administration silenced criticism of masks and school closures

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 20, 2023
Dr. Jay Bhattacharya from Stanford University, a controversial covenction skeptic, won a recent court victory that charged that the Biden administration possibly violated his First Amendment rights by coerced social media cameras to exclude him and other dissipators. According to a federal court, the Biden administration likely violated Covid lockdown skeptics' First Amendment rights by coercing social media sites to censor them. The authors of a controversial petition that protested government attempts to shut down the economy, including schools, received a appeal on September 8, rebutting a lower court's decision that denied their accusations of being blocked.

It was 'highly likely', according to a scientist who denounced the Covid lab leak theory

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 13, 2023
Dr Kristian Andersen (pictured left), a Danish evolutionary biologist, co-authored a now-notorious academic paper that blasted the lab leak theory as conspiracy theorists and xenophobes, published on March 17, 2020. Despite that Slack messages sent to co-authors a month before the paper's publication in Nature reveal that a lab leak was actually 'highly likely.' Dr. Andersen said in a tweet sent on February 2, 2020, that accidental escape is very possible, not some fringe belief.'

Scientists at center of Covid lab leak cover-up feared s***show from China

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 11, 2023
Scientists caught up in the debate surrounding Covid's origins have confirmed that the decision to deny the lab leak theory was political. Slack communications obtained by a House subcommittee early in the pandemic showed how scientists who wrote a paper rejecting the possibility of a laboratory accident feared retaliation from the Chinese government. Dr Andrew Rambaut, a biologist at the University of Edinburgh, was a co-author of the Nature Medicine research article entitled 'The Proximal Origins of SARS-V-2,' which converted students of the lab leak theory as conspiracy theorists and racists.

"There's a chance that we could go back in a bad direction," the WHO's chief scientist on Covid says

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 30, 2023
According to Dr. Jeremy Farrar, the world is far from finished with the Covid pandemic. Although Covid cases and deaths have been on the decline for months [shown right], the world has insufficient anti-viral drugs to treat a potential new variant, and vaccinations must be enhanced to help avoid transmission and infection.

The former parachute and his'soulmate's wife, 35, converted their Welsh farmhouse into a 'fortress,' according to the ex-paratrooper

Cassie Collins, 35, and Francis Collins, 36, (pictured left) were discovered by a family friend on September 11, 2021, who had been worried about their welfare at their home in Cullompton. Mrs Collins, a student nurse, and Mr Collins, a former paratrooper, were reported to have been together for 11 years after meeting in a call center. The couple were 'joint at the hip,' but they were reported to have been worried about anything that might be taken from them following the start of a new police probe into Mr Collins. Mr Collins had been suspended for hurling homemade firebombs onto a neighbor's driveway. Following a raging war over a piece of property where they lived in Wales, the firebomb was ignited. In late 2020, the couple married in Cullompton. An inquest was held at Coroners Court in Exeter (pictured right).

Why does America's most inbred family yell and scream?

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 5, 2023
The Whittaker family, who hail from Odd, West Virginia, is so inbred that many members have obvious mental disorders and are unable to properly speak. Danny Ray Whittaker, a member of Ray, can only be communicated by grunts and barks. Although details about the secluded family are limited, it is speculated that he is suffering from a medically abnormal condition called non-verbal autism.

According to an ex-Britiden aide, there are growing signs of a COVID DID leak from the lab

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 8, 2023
Dr. Jamie Metzl, a former Biden staffer and self-identified Democrat, favoured the lab leak theory because 'the Chinese government has done everything in its power' to stonewall investigations,' a former Biden staffer and self-identified Democrat, said he favoured the lab leak theory. Metzl said that China had a "incentive" to locate the animal where Covid-19 had originated while supporting the animal-to-human transmission theory, but that hadn't done so. 'Given that the Chinese government has every reason to find an intermediary host, it's surprising that no one has been found,' Metzl said. 'I think it's very telling that it hasn't been found after three years that we haven't found it.' After spores of SARS and MERS, Dr. Paul Auwaerter, an infectious disease specialist on the committee, explained that finding the intermediary hosts took years.

The elderly seeming disorder of dementia is now a factor: In ten deaths, NIne in ten deaths are over 65

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 30, 2022
Official estimates show that nine out of ten Covid deaths in the United States are now among the elderly, with the condition now firmly a disease of old age. Older people have been more vulnerable to Covid throughout the pandemic, as in the past, but the over-65s have skewed even higher, with a recent number approaching a record 92 percent of all Covid deaths. Researchers are uncertain about what's behind this trend, although bivalent vaccine usage has been low, with only a quarter of elderly people getting the shots. Every day, nearly 100 Americans die from Covid, which is well below the peak of nearly 4,000 people a day in 2020, but some experts believe this is still too high. Some doctors are already alert that the new Covid version will mutate to become even more fatal.

The Republican majority would look into Covid pandemic origins and Fauci's involvement 'a top priority,' according to Fauci

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 3, 2022
Several leading Republican lawmakers have confirmed that they intend to launch a full probe into the possibility that the coronavirus was a result of risky gain-of-function research and has escaped from a high-security lab. The lab leak accusations will also be investigated by federal officials as part of the attempts to debunk the lab leak allegations.

Covid-19: The virus COULD have arisen from a lab leak, according to a world's best medical journal

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 18, 2022
IAN BIRRELL: The world's most respected medical journal has admitted that the Covid pandemic may have been triggered by a laboratory leak and acknowledges that the virus may have been engineered by scientists. It may have been a statement of the obvious in calling on international bodies to intensify tests to find whether Covid-19 came from a laboratory in Wuhan, China, or from animals infected with the bat virus. However, this is a dramatic change for the 199-year-old Lancet, which published an influential article defending allegations of a lab leak as 'conspiracy theories.'

How Fauci became a divisive face of COVID

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 22, 2022
Dr. Anthony Fauci was once one of the most trusted celebrities of the Covid-19 pandemic, appearing alongside President Trump to inform the American public in a period of mass confusion. But the 81-year-old physician, who was the nation's top virus expert, who had been fighting the coronavirus pandemic, has announced his retirement in December, no doubt exhausted by ongoing battles with Republicans who became suspicious of his recommendations as virus messaging evolved from 'two weeks to halt the spread' to on-and-off lockdowns to endemic. Although being marginalized by the Trump administration, the administrator of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) continued to speak out, calling for masking and social shaming, Republicans portrayed him as the symbol of lockdowns and pointing out his own inconsistencies. And since Fauci announced his resignation, they have confirmed that their probe into his conduct will continue.
