CBBC star Angellica Bell broke down in tears as she admitted that she feels like she 'failed a generation' during an emotional interview on Tuesday. The radio and TV presenter, 48, was speaking on HITS Radio with Fleur East where they discussed her career and black representation. Angellica - who is best known for her presenting on CBBC between 2000 and 2006 - spoke about the influence she had and how important it was for black children to be represented on TV at that time.

Strictly Come Dancing's Nick Knowles has revealed he is ready and raring to get back in the dance studio as soon as he's recovered from two operations.  The DIY SOS star, 62, appeared alongside his partner Luba Mushtuk on the spin-off show Strictly It Takes Two on Monday.  Speaking to host Fleur East the TV presenter revealed that he is due to have two procedures after injuring himself during rehearsals.

The campaign group World Afro Day (WAD) came to Parliament to convince MPs to amend the 2010 Equality Act to add the specification for Afro hair.
