Federico Bernardeschi, a Toronto and Italy midfielder, has been warned never to smoke around the team, according to the team's announcement that he had been suspended for Saturday's match against DC United. After last weekend's loss to Austin, Bernardeschi openly attacked coach Bob Bradley, saying that the team does "need (have) a little bit more tactics... (and) an idea of how we play.' In their high scoring matchup on Sunday night, Toronto FC and CF Montreal made it into the MLS record books. As Montreal eventually won by a 4-3 victory, the match featured seven goals, but the records themselves occurred in the first minutes of action. According to Opta, Toronto's first ten minutes of the game was the fastest any team had ever achieved this feat in the MLS this season. Thanks to Federico Bernardeschi and Lorenzo Insigne, Toronto's goals were achieved in the fifth and seventh minutes.
