CFB Games of the Week - Week 7: Syracuse-NC State, Tennessee-Alabama, Oklahoma State-TCU and more

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 14, 2022
We've arrived at a point in the season where these sections are becoming shorter since they're mainly teams we've read about before. But seeing as our prerogative is to bring you the games that are the most relevant or important, it means we'll be talking about the best and most influential teams. Sometimes those teams repeat, as this week - where we revisit Tennessee, Alabama, TCU, USC, Utah, and others. As a result, those sections are likely to be a little bit shorter than those we haven't discussed before -like Syracuse or Michigan. So, this being said, this week, we'll explore how the Oranges unexpectedly returned to the top-five, a Big 12 matchup involving two undefeated teams, a Pac-12 meet-up in the mountains of Utah, and what could be a thrilling defensive match between Penn State and Michigan. It all leads up to our Game of the Week for the Volunteers as they look to triumph in the 'Third Saturday' over Alabama for the first time since 2006.

CFB Games of the Week - Week 4: Wisconsin-Ohio State, Clemson-Wake, Arkansas-Texas A&M and more

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 23, 2022
Before we begin, there's something that needs to be said about some of the more 'blue blood' college basketball powerhouses and their football programs. We'll bring Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Kansas, UNC, UCLA, and Syracuse for the sake of this. These schools haven't been well known for their gridiron domination. They have a total of 40 college basketball titles out of the seven listed. However, only the 1954 UCLA Bruins and the 1959 Syracuse Orange have been named consensus national champions of football. Kentucky holds the 1950 championship, but Oklahoma was the consensus champion that year. Only Syracuse running back Ernie Davis has been named as America's best college football player.
