Ennajie C. Laure, also known as EJ, is a Filipina volleyball player.

She is a founding member and former team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses volleyball team, as well as a former Philippine national team member.

Personal life

Laure is the granddaughter of a celebrity. Eddie Laure, a pro basketball player who earned the trophies "The Dominator" and "The Bounty Hunter" during his time in the PBA, as well as Jovie Laure. Eya Laure, her younger sister, plays as a utility spiker for UST High School's girls' volleyball team. Eco Laure, her younger brother, is a member of NU's boys' basketball team. She is currently enrolled in University of Santo Tomas and taking BS Sports and Wellness Management.

Career

Laure coached the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Girls Volleyball Team to its final championship in Season 76 of UAAP Juniors Volleyball. She was dubbed the best attacker and most valuable player in the industry. She also received the Best Server award in Season 74 and Best Receiver in Season 75.

In Shakey's V-League 11th Season 1st Conference, Laure debuted her college career with a guest appearance. UST advanced to the semi-finals, but failed to finish in the podium, losing to Adamson University. Laure received the Best Scorer Award of the conference. Laure played for UST in UAAP Season 77, making an impressive debut in SVL. The United States failed to qualify for the final four, losing to FEU Tamaraws. Laure was named Rookie of the Year along with Kathleen Arado of the University of UE.

Laure and UST were among the V-League 12th Season Collegiate Conference in her sophomore year. UST placed fourth place after losing to FEU Lady Tamaraws in the Philippines for the second time in 2nd Best Open Hitter Award. Laure was confirmed as the team's captain in UAAP Season 78. The United States failed to advance to the Final Four and landed as the sixth placer. Laure was a member of the UST Golden Tigresses in Shakey's V-League 13th Season Reinforced Open Conference, competing against club teams and collegiate teams in the Philippines in the second half of 2016. She led the Golden Tigresses to the semi-finals, becoming the only collegiate team to do so; they finished in fourth place and won their second Best Open Hitter Award. They also competed in UNIGAMES 2016 in Bacolod, where they were proclaimed champions by defeating University of Perpetual Help System Dalta.

In UAAP Season 79, Laure led the Golden Tigresses to a third-place podium finish, their 23rd appearance in the Final Four after four years. She was voted league's third-best scorer, eighth-best spiker, and fifth-best digger.

After losing the DLSU Lady Spikers in the 2017 University Games held in Dumaguete, Laure and Rondina snatched the back-to-back championship.

Laure made her debut in semi-professional volleyball with the Foton Tornadoes in 2016, where her team finished as a runner-up and took the back-to-back Philippine Super League Grand Prix Conference title the same year. Laure competed in the 2016 Sealect Women's Volleyball Championship and the 2016 Asian Club Championship as part of Foton Tornadoes' championship line-up. PSL All-Filipino Conference's 2017 Best Open Hitter, she was named 1st Best Open Hitter, and her team finished fourth, according to PSL All-Filipino Conference. In the 2017 PSL Grand Prix Championships, she earned the bronze medal.

Laure was a member of the Philippine youth team that competed in the 2015 Asian Women's U23 Volleyball Championship in Pasig, Philippines.
