The young prospect, who had announced his exit from the Gunners at the end of July after two years at the club, described the Red Devils as an 'amazing' club following the completion of his transfer on Saturday afternoon.

Mail Sport's FPL predictions: Which midfielder will continue his 'scintillating form' this weekend? Who is going 'under the radar'? And which value midfielder is the 'single best pick in the game' ahead of Gameweek 6?

September 27, 2024
Gameweek 6 of the Premier League is set to deliver another blockbuster weekend with Manchester United's clash with Tottenham on Sunday the pick of the games. After a disappointing draw at Crystal Palace last weekend, Erik ten Hag's team will be desperate to return to winning ways at Old Trafford against a Spurs side who have endured an up-and-down start to the campaign. In addition, both Arsenal and Manchester City will be keen to get three points on the board after their pulsating 2-2 draw at the Etihad last weekend. With plenty to ponder, FPL managers around the country have an opportunity to bring back many of the title rivals' top stars into their teams following a low-point week. Mail Sport's panel - including experts from FPL gurus Fantasy Football Hub - have predicted the full-time result of each match this weekend, detailing the players they expect to score the most points in each fixture.
Alan Shearer weighs in on Newcastle civil war involving Eddie Howe and sporting director Paul Mitchell after 'rotten' display in 3-1 defeat by Fulham
www.dailymail.co.uk,
September 24, 2024
Club legend Alan Shearer has delivered his verdict on Newcastle's civil war after Eddie Howe's side were beaten 3-1 by Fulham on Saturday. The Magpies slipped to their first defeat of the season after falling behind to goals from Raul Jimenez and Emile Smith Rowe in the first half. They threatened a comeback when Harvey Barnes halved the deficit just after half time, but Reiss Nelson wrapped up a deserved win for Fulham in stoppage time. The loss comes amid tension behind the scenes at St James' Park after sporting director Paul Mitchell criticised the club's transfer strategy, before Howe defended Newcastle's recruitment in recent windows.
Fulham 3-1 Newcastle: Raul Jimenez, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson secure all three points for the hosts as Magpies suffer first defeat of the season

CRAIG HOPE AT CRAVEN COTTAGE: Finally, after four matches unbeaten and with a chance to go top of the Premier League, Newcastle got the result some of their performances have perhaps deserved - a defeat. They have mugged a couple of opponents already this season and came here knowing that victory would fire them to the summit. This time, the bandits were the victims. Victims of a rampant Fulham and victims of their own mistakes. Each of Fulham's three goals came with a visiting assist. Joelinton and Fabian Schar were culpable for the first, Nick Pope for the second and Bruno Guimaraes for Fulham's clincher in stoppage-time. Individual errors, yes, but there was also a collective malaise, especially in the first half when Newcastle had no intensity, identity or ideas. Fulham, by contrast, came out all guns blazing, before Newcastle borrowed the shooters and blew their own feet off.
Fulham 3-1 Newcastle PLAYER RATINGS: Who had a 'costly howler'? Which superstar was 'vastly diminished'? And what made Harvey Barnes the visitors' best player?
www.dailymail.co.uk,
September 21, 2024
CRAIG HOPE AT CRAVEN COTTAGE: Fulham secured a 3-1 win over Newcastle thanks to goals from Raul Jimenez, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson at Craven Cottage. Marco Silva's side took the lead within the first five minutes after Jimenez produced a superb strike on the turn to find the back of the net, before Smith Rowe scored 17 minutes later. The Magpies did get back in the game on 46 minutes through Harvey Barnes but it wasn't enough to prevent their first defeat of the season.
Ernest Nuamah was 'in TEARS' on the day of his Fulham medical - with the Lyon star 'going MISSING on deadline day' before move collapsed and owner John Textor 'apologised for the events'
www.dailymail.co.uk,
September 4, 2024
Marco Silva's side were active in the transfer market over the summer, signing the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Joachim Andersen and Sander Berge for sizeable fees in bids to improve their squad. Other faces walked through the door too, but one potential deal that didn't get over the line was a move for Lyon star Ernest Nuamah (left), who ended up staying with the French club. The reasons for why that happened, however, have now reportedly come to light, and they involve the 20-year-old supposedly breaking down into tears during the medical and fleeing.
Here's the REAL reason why Premier League clubs are selling off their homegrown talent, writes SIMON JORDAN
www.dailymail.co.uk,
August 28, 2024
SIMON JORDAN: In recent times there has been a confected outrage directed at the transfer policies being exhibited at certain clubs. I've found it faintly ridiculous listening to people mortally offended whenever a club sells one of its homegrown players. A theme of this transfer window has been Scott McTominay (left), Conor Gallagher (centre, left), Emile Smith Rowe (right) and other graduates heading for the exit. To those complaining, I get the whiff of double-standards. If owners built a side predominantly made up of academy players because that was their want, they'd be considered as not having a lot of ambition. If they sell their academy players instead, it's a club that has no soul and destroying the future of these bright young things. Sending them somewhere else to play rather than the place they supposedly love because they'd been there so long. I've heard it all now!

DAN BENNETT AT CRAVEN COTTAGE: Fulham forward Alex Iwobi is backing Emile Smith Rowe to help the club push for a top-half finish this season. Smith Rowe, a club-record £34million signing from Arsenal, opened the scoring with his first Premier League goal in more than two years, before Iwobi netted a second-half winner. Iwobi played with Smith Rowe at Arsenal and believes he can reach his full potential at Fulham after a frustrating spell with injuries.
Fulham 2-1 Leicester: Alex Iwobi nets second-half winner after Emile Smith Rowe scores his first goal for his new club as Marco Silva's men earn their opening win of the season
www.dailymail.co.uk,
August 24, 2024
FULHAM 2-1 LEICESTER - DAN BENNETT AT CRAVEN COTTAGE: Emile Smith Rowe's early Fulham form should provide Marco Silva with the confidence that he can be the man to bring the best out of the former Arsenal midfielder. The 24-year-old opened the scoring in Fulham's 2-1 win over Leicester City with a fine run and finish before another former Arsenal man Alex Iwobi sealed the win after Wout Faes had controversially equalised for Leicester. Smith Rowe endured a frustrating end to his time at boyhood club Arsenal - playing just 13 Premier League games in the last campaign as a combination of injury and increased competition for places meaning his game time was limited.

United got the 2024-25 Premier League season underway on Friday night with a 1-0 win at home to Fulham, struggling to break down a resilient away defence while also looking vulnerable at the other end. The likes of Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee (right) were two of the new signings on show at Old Trafford, with Emile Smith Rowe lining up for Fulham following his move from Arsenal. And it was Zirkzee's involvement that caused a stir inside the ground, with the forward being shown what appeared to be his role during a defensive set-piece prior to his introduction.

The centre back burst into the penalty area in the first half at Old Trafford and, after anticipating contact from Emile Smith Rowe, tumbled to the ground. Multiple replays quickly showed he had not been touched by his opponent, however, and referee Rob Jones was quick to show him a yellow card. Maguire protested the decision but the caution pushed him onto the back foot against Fulham's physical frontline on the opening day of the new campaign. Social media users wasted no time in ruthlessly tearing apart the simulation.

The Premier League this year: From Man United to Arsenal and Man City - Mail Sport's football editor IAN LADYMAN gives his definitive verdict
www.dailymail.co.uk,
August 16, 2024
IAN LADYMAN: We have new managers at Chelsea (of course we do) and Liverpool, as well as one at Manchester United who still has as much to prove as anyone. But this could also be Guardiola's last dance at City - his last season. Out of contract at the end of the campaign, Guardiola's messages on the matter have been mixed but inside his football club there is an acceptance that this may be the year that one of the greatest and most transformative managerial reigns in the history of our game comes to an end.
Can Marcus Rashford return to form tonight? Man United star is now EVENS to have a shot on target against Fulham at Old Trafford in the 2024-25 Premier League opener
www.dailymail.co.uk,
August 16, 2024
Sky Bet are offering a Super Boost, three Price Boosts and a Scorecast Boost for tonight's Premier League opener between Manchester United and Fulham at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, the three price boosts available include Andre Onana to make 3+ saves at 1/1, Alejandro Garnacho to have 2+ shots on target at 3/1, and Emile Smith Rowe to score at 5/1.

Three players have joined the Cottagers, in Ryan Sessegnon, Emile Smith Rowe and Jorge Cuenca, while Joao Palhinha, Tim Ream and Kieron Bowie have departed.

The real reason Arsenal starlet Chido Obi-Martin is leaving and how the club are fighting back to keep their young stars
www.dailymail.co.uk,
July 30, 2024
EXCLUSIVE BY ISAAN KHAN IN PHILADELPHIA: When the news of Chido Obi-Martin's expected exit from Arsenal broke, the feeling outside of the north London club centred in a certain direction. Not again. Another prolific academy talent finding its way off the Hale End conveyor belt and into the hands of a Premier League side. You see, a pattern could be surmised after other recent departures. The Obi-Martin situation is complex and Arsenal's push to futureproof the club through utilising academy talent to the first team, or making profit through sales where necessary, is going on behind the scenes, yet the highly-touted midfielder Amario Cozier-Duberry and defender Reuell Walters sealed moves to Brighton and Luton Town respectively earlier this month.
