Richard Gadd is set to add to his collection of trophies after his hit drama Baby Reindeer snatched up two nominations at this year's Scots Baftas. The Fife comedian, whose Netflix series is said to be based on his own ordeal at the hands of a stalker, is shortlisted in the best writer and best television actor categories. His dual nomination follows the show's huge success at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, where it picked up six gongs from 11 nominations. Baby Reindeer has remained in the headlines because of the ongoing legal action by a woman, who claims the story is based on her, who is suing Netflix for defamation. Just days ago, a judge ruled she can pursue the case because the drama was wrongly billed as 'true story'.

Chloe Burrows and Danielle Harold led the five new celebrity faces revealed to be battling it out in the Celebrity MasterChef arena for a place in the quarter-finals. The BBC cooking show kicked off on Tuesday with its first three episodes starring Charlotte Crosby, Craig Doyle, Edith Bowman, Ian 'H' Watkins, and Snoochie Shy -and one has already been sent packing.  Now, the BBC has revealed that competing in the second Heat week will be reality star Chloe, 28, and EastEnders star Danielle, 32. The high-pressured cooking competition usually sees 32 professional chefs enter the MasterChef kitchen in a bid to become the 2023 Champion.

Charlotte Crosby has revealed that she was reduced to tears on Celebrity MasterChef.  The Geordie Shore star, 34, appeared on Monday's episode of The One Show with co-star Edith Bowman as they reflected on filming the celebrity cooking show.  Charlotte told hosts Alex Jones and Lauren Laverne that she had a false sense of security before filming, walking in with the attitude 'I'm going to win this!'

Ian 'H' Watkins from pop band Steps was the name confirmed for the line-up, according to the journal. The singer, 47, has appeared on several other reality shows, including Dancing On Ice, Celebrity Big Brother, and Gogglebox.

ITV has been accused of ignoring its female viewers by axing a medical drama starring three female doctors who had returned to work after maternity leave. Maternal, which portrayed the trio as its central characters (see image), has not been commissioned for a second run, and network bosses are at the center of a controversy. Despite the series's increasing audience share in a competitive slot, they cited poor viewing figures as the cause of their decision. After going up against the BBC's famous Silent Witness, Maternal reached its final episode with an overnight figure of 1.9 million. In comparison, the Jonathan Ross Show is expected to draw around 1.7 million viewers on Saturday nights.

Priscilla Presley has reportedly denied that she is fighting granddaughter Riley Keough over late daughter Lisa Marie's will. Edith Bowman was left "speechless" and feeling "very let down" by Radio 1 bosses as she was "edged out" of the station before being fired in 2014. After being handed the bad news, the Scottish radio DJ and television presenter said that the decision to shift her to a quieter position in 2009 "fully shocked her." In July 2009, the 48-year-old, who was speaking to a Psychologies magazine, said her weekday afternoon slot had been relocated to the much quieter weekend breakfast show. She had been in the position for five years (left, in 2006). She has since hosted a weekend morning show on BBC 6 Music, her own website, and, most recently, presented the BAFTAS (right) last year.
