In March, he was supposed to have a funeral at a smaller chapel in Mortlake, south-west London, but Westminster Council's appeal saw them flooded with people wanting to give him a "befitting to his dignity." Relative Brooke Alexander, one of the Jamaican capital Kingston, had travelled more than 4,000 miles to attend.
