Early and personal life

Durjoy Datta was born in Mehsana, Gujarat, as part of a Bengali Hindu family, but grew up in New Delhi. He completed his education at Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura, and then moved on to Mechanical Engineering at Delhi Technological University. He obtained his post-graduation from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany. In 2011, he resigned as a marketing analyst and turned full-time writer. Avantika Mohan, a travel blogger and air hostess, is married to travel blogger and air hostess Avantika Mohan.

Career

Of Course I Love You, Durjoy Datta's first book, Of Course I Love You! In 2008, Srishti Publishers announced Maanvi Ahuja (co-authored with Maanvi Ahuja) while he was still in college. Now That You're Rich!, his second book, was published in August 2009. I Didn't!, She Broke Up, I Didn't!, was his third book published in the summer of 2010. Ohh Yes, I Am Single! was Neeti Rustagi's co-written book. He co-founded Grapevine India Publishers after graduating from MDI, Gurgaon, in 2011. Grapevine India Publishers released You Were My Crush, his fifth book, in September 2011. If It's Not Forever!, his sixth book, was published on February 1, 2012. Till the Last Breath... was published in the same year. Penguin India published Someone Like You, a book he co-wrote with Nikita Singh, on February 4, 2013. Hold My Hand, his ninth book, was released on August 5th, 2013. On June 19, 2014, his tenth novel When Only Love Remains was published. On April 24, 2015, his eleventh book, World's Best Boyfriend, was published. In 2016, his twelfth book, Our Impossible Love, and his thirteenth book, The Girl of my Dreams, were released. With Maanvi Ahuja, Neeti Rustagi, Orvana Ghai, and Nikita Singh, he has co-authored books. He has also hosted TEDx talks and conferences in colleges, and he has written blogs for Miss Malini and That's So Gloss.

In 2011, Whistling Woods International listed him as one of the top young achievers in Media and Communications. My Life, My Choice, my debut show, received the Youth Show - Fiction category at Zee Gold Awards in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
