The trade reunites Bridges with his former Villanova teammates Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo. The Wildcat quartet won the school's second national championships together under coach Jay Wright in 2016. Brunson, DiVincenzo and Bridges won another national title together in 2018 after Hart had turned pro.

Fans roast Caitlin Clark bobblehead doll that looks nothing like Indiana Fever star: 'That's Klay Thompson'

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 15, 2024
On May 14, user @TwinsJake posted a picture of the limited edition doll that sells for $60 on Foco . However, the comment section was bombarded with jokes about how the bobblehead looks like anyone but Clark. The doll is supposedly modelled after the WNBA's No. 1 Draft pick in her fever jersey, wearing a massive grin while holding a basketball. While hilarious comparisons included Daddy Yankee, Anthony Rizzo, and Donte DiVincenzo, Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors was consistently mentioned by users. 'Klay Thompson???' one user wrote. 'That's definitely Klay Thompson, and you can't tell me otherwise,' another suggested.

Pierce does appear to say the word in clips of the incident, but no comment has been made by Fox.

Sixers coach Nick Nurse says refs IGNORED his pleas for a timeout before turnover that led to Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo's go-ahead 3-pointer in New York's Game 2 win

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 23, 2024
Even for a building known for its volume, Madison Square Garden got loud for Game 2 of the New York Knicks' opening-round series with the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. The obvious culprit was Donte DiVincenzo's go-ahead 3-pointer, which capped a wild play with 13 seconds remaining and sent Knicks fans into absolute hysterics. But following New York's 104-101 Game 2 win - which gave the Knicks a 2-0 series lead - Philadelphia coach Nick Nurse told reporters the dramatic game-winner shouldn't have counted. As Nurse explained, after Knicks guard Jalen Brunson cut the Sixers' lead to 101-99 with a 3-pointer at the 27-second mark, he called for a timeout. What's more, video replay confirms this. 'The first thing is, obviously they score, we take a look at getting it in quick,' Nurse said. 'We don't get it in quick, I call timeout. Referee looked right at me, ignored me.'

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 6, 2024
During the Knicks' loss to the Bulls on Friday, Donte DiVincenzo was caught on camera instructing a fan to'shut the f*** up.' Divincenzo, who had been irritated by the remark, turned around and gave the fan a piece of his mind.

Monty Williams, the Detroit Pistons coach, is OUT of his postgame press conference after losing 113-110 to the Knicks, accusing officials of making "the absolute worst call of the season" in New York

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 27, 2024
Donte DiVincenzo of New York turned the ball over to Ausar Thompson, causing the Pistons to win 111-110. DiVincenzo sank into his knees as the rookie attempted to dribble the ball across the court, causing him to trip and collapse. Rather than blowing the whistle on clear contact, the authorities permitted play to continue as Jalen Brunson retained possession for the Knicks. Brunson was then discovered Josh Hart, who won the game for New York after making a three-point play. Of the last sequence to open his presser, Williams said, 'The absolute worst call of the season.' 'No call.' And that's plenty. We've done it the right way; we've named the team; and we've posted clips. We're used to hearing the same old stuff over and over again.

NBA: Donte DiVincenzo's prospect is a fan of the idea

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 27, 2023
After requesting for the franchise to sign his former college buddy in a Bleacher Report, the Knicks could possibly rely on Hart to act as a recruiting agent to land DiVincenzo. In their Game 3 loss at Kaseya Center, the Knicks badly fell behind the three-point line in their Eastern Semifinals Conference matchup against the Miami Heat, finishing 8-for-40 overall from beyond the arc. DiVincenzo would certainly assist in this area as he recovered 39.7 percent of his overall attempts from three years ago.

Furious Draymond Green blasts the NBA's new tentative CBA because 'players lose again'

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 1, 2023
The NBA and players union has been chastised in the new collective bargaining deal that will be announced this summer. If a team's midlevel exception to sign players is reached, the agreed upon seven-year CBA will have a second luxury tax level, which will prevent teams from using their midlevel exception to sign players. That was a concrete compromise, considering how certain clubs needed the so-called 'upper spending ceiling' that would effectively put a ceiling on how much money can be invested each season.

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 11, 2023
JAKE FENNER of MADISON SQUARE GARDEN: The original Big East Conference is dead, but it will never die. The 'old' Big East Conference held its final tournament this week, with all of its founding members (except UConn). It was the last time basketball fans in the United States would see some of the most legendary programs in the world's Most Popular Arena: Madison Square Garden, the Mecca of College Basketball, in the United States. The Big East Conference combined some of America's top college basketball programs into one supergroup that represented flashiness, brutality, and beauty, which was never to be overflowing. Some people were defiant to the heat when the conference began in 2013.
