Following a deadly outbreak of listeria food poisoning, including snack foods that may be included in Super Bowl Sunday party menus, more foods are being recalled. Federal health officials said seven-layer bean dip, chicken enchiladas, cilantro salad dressing, and taco kits were sold at Costco, Trader Joe's, and Albertson's stores. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Rizo Lopez Foods' dairy products are responsible for the listeria outbreak that has killed two people and sickened more than two dozen since 2014.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is alerting Americans of a listeria outbreak related to dairy products sold around the country that has killed two people. Rizo-Lopez Foods' contaminated cheese, cremation, and yogurt were recalled by investigators due to listeria. According to the CDC, 26 Americans have been sickened and 23 have been hospitalized in 11 states. Two deaths have been reported, one in California and one in Texas. The recall includes all'sell by' information regarding 61 cheese, yogurt, and sour cream (crema) products sold under 13 brand names, including 365 Whole Foods Market and Food City.
