An 11-year-old boy died on Monday in Park Slope, Brooklyn, around 10.15am. NYPD officers were seen picking up a backpack on the tracks (center) after the tragedy. In July, Anthony Bhagwandeen, 15, (far bottom right) died in Queens while carrying out the same act, as did an unidentified 13-year-old died in June, while in January, Alam Reyes, 14, (right center) lost his life.

Zackery Nazario, Norma Nazario's son, died while subway surfing on the Williamsburg Bridge on February 20, 2023. A low beam struck the teen in the head, causing him to crash between the subway cars, and before he could get away, a train ran over him. Norma has filed a lawsuit against the MTA and the social media platforms, alleging that the applications 'goaded' her child into the deadly stunt by releasing similar videos a year after his death. In New York City, two men were discovered having sex on top of a moving 7 train, with the bare-bottom display now becoming the most dangerous safety hazard among subway surfers. Jonathan Eli took to social media to post photos of the incident, which took place around 1.20 p.m. on Friday's Van Wyck Expressway's roof as it passed the elevated tracks above the Van Wyck Expressway. Eli, whose X bio reads 'transit workers against corruption,' captioned his cheeky post: 'What is the MTA doing about this?' In the photographs, a third man can even be seen on the train as he watches the other men have sex. The identities of the subway surfers are currently unknown.
