A man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend's father to death sent her a number of threatening messages before the attack, a court has heard.
Kamar Williams, 33, was arrested at Notting Hill Carnival after he allegedly got out of a van and stabbed bus driver Derrick Thomas, 53, to death with a large knife. Mr Thomas, who died from a stab wound to the chest, was attacked in Stoke Newington, north London, as he made his way home from work late on July 30. Williams was arrested at Notting Hill Carnival on August 26 and charged with murder and the possession of a knife.
