All season, Erling Haaland has dominated the news. And rightly so. Fans have grown used to seeing the Norwegian's name plastered across the front pages with 51 goals this year and counting. Yet, as the hour came at the Bernabeu on Tuesday, with Manchester City trailing by a goal over the reigning Champions League champions, it seemed Haaland would finally be out of the headlines.
