Washington Nationals All-Star CJ Abrams has been demoted after reportedly spending an all-nighter at a casino before a day game on Friday. Abrams and the Nationals faced the Cubs starting at 1pm local time, a game which Chicago won 3-1. And according to CHGO Sports, Abrams was at the Bally's casino in Chicago until 8am in the morning.

Pawol was the first female official at a spring training game since 2007, when the Houston Astros defeated the Washington Nationals in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday evening. The 47-year-old New Jersey native made his way into the minor leagues eight years ago and is a former high school softball star who played for Hofstra.
