Dave Martin, the owner of Coogee Courtyard, purchased the expensive $3000 machine a year ago in order to ensure that people would be able to access the lifesaving device in the event of a heart attack; however, the unit was robbed from its wall-mounted box sometime last week. At the basin in Coogee, there isn't really one.' I thought it would be a good idea to buy one, but mostly for the community,' he said. It was probably some young inebriated guys.' Anyone with brains would not take it.'

The day, however, owners of eastern suburbs cafes told NCA NewsWire, that if the day was better managed by local councils, it would be a great way to support local businesses' profits.

The 61-year-old has been selling the Big Issue for more than a decade outside of a Tesco in Brook Green, west London, who has earned £125 per week from sales of about 50 magazines. In addition to his magazine sales, the former garage employee also creates and sells his own artwork, and has his work on view at the Brick Lane gallery in east London. This week, Mr Martin was photographed by many fans as he continued to offer Big Issue to customers outside Tesco in Hammersmith. (right) Had not seen William in the previous year (left). According to experts, a ban on XL bullies could result in more dog attacks because owners could hold them inside, and breeders will shift to other large breeds

New laws that go into force on December 31 will make it unlawful to breed, sell, promote, trade, rehome, relocate, or allow XL bullys to wander in England and Wales. Owners of XL bully dogs will be compelled to obey stringent laws, including the prohibition of muzzle them and hold them on a lead in public, but the dogs must also be microchipped and neutered. However, senior vet Dave Martin, a health consultant to 900 practices in the United Kingdom, is concerned about the implications if these dogs are left hungry and exercised.

William's crusade to end homelessness is inspired by his mother's compassion, writes RICHARD KAY

RICHARD KAY: William was unusually reflective on a spring afternoon in 1996 as they discussed one of Princess Diana's favorite causes - the homeless. She had just returned from a visit to The Passage, a Catholic nuns' hostel near London's Victoria station. Diana had taken William a few years ago, and then 11, she was there for the first time. He had been accompanied by him on several occasions, when they would drop in private to see its redoubtable principal, Sister Bridie Dowd, and help night-shift workers prepare for the evening's raucy. Since being a tourist for the first time, the Prince has been an explorer. Princess Diana of St Vincent's Centre with Prince William and Price Harry, and Prince William with Big Issue vendor Dave Martin is pictured right, but not pictured right is Prince William.

The royal, 41, met with local people who have suffered with mental instability and homeless during his visit to London. He also gave a speech about his campaign, Homewards, in which he claims to make 'rough sleeping, sofa surfing, and other aspects of temporary accommodation a thing of the past.' He discussed the effect that his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, made on him. When he was a schoolboy, she first introduced him to The Passage, a homeless charity. I was referring to a shelter when I was 11 with my mother,'s first trip to a homelessness shelter was when he was 11 years old.' The visits we made left a lasting impression. I met so many extraordinary people and listened to so many sad personal stories. Many people have discovered themselves without a secure and safe place to call home. I have experienced firsthand the breadth and complexities of homelessness on these trips. A personal thank you to those who are here today and who gave me an induction in selling The Big Issue last summer.' Dustin Poirier vs Michael Chandler 'set for UFC 281 on November 12 at Madison Square Garden'

According to sources, Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler's rumors of a spectacular lightweight showdown had been scheduled for November 12 at Madison Square Garden. Chandler was originally eager to lock horns with Poirier, who hasn't been active since his defeat of Charles Oliviera last December, one month later, before finally agreeing to the earlier match. According to ESPN, the pair will now meet at UFC 281 rather than elsewhere after Hunter Campbell, the company's Chief Business Officer, announced that the two will compete in three rounds on their pay-per-view card in New York. Since being released on Tuesday, the fighters have yet to sign contracts, but there are no guarantees that will stop Poirier and Chandler from being matched at 155 pounds.
