Shelly Horton has shared her controversial views about parenthood and the choice to have pets instead of kids.  The Talking Married host, 50, owns two dogs with her husband Darren Robinson and describes herself as 'proudly childfree by choice'.  In an article published in 9Honey on Saturday, Shelly said she believes' fur kids' are better than 'skin kids', while claiming pet owners' love for their animals is 'equal' to a parent's love for a child.

Namja Carroll, 33, was killed on July 14, 2020, and her body was discovered 15 days later by a bushwalker strolling through the Sandy Point area. After a six-week trial in the NSW Supreme Court, the jury found one of her murderers, Benjamin Troy Parkes, guilty of murder on Wednesday. Robert Sloan, a 46-year-old man, was charged with beating Ms Carroll and attempting to dispose of her body by dousing it in petrol and setting it ablaze, according to the 46-year-old's unsuccessfully.

Shelly Horton has argued that people born on major public holidays should commemorate their birthday on a different date, even though it means celebrating it months later. In her Nine Honey column, the Talking Married host, 50, said that many of her people born on days such as New Year's Eve or Christmas feel left out, as others celebrate the holiday for other reasons. I had a lightbulb moment with another friend of mine, who was born on December 25th.' 'She wrote that one year he was miserable about his non-birthday.'

Shelly Horton has expressed the surprise and pain she felt when her doctor told her she would need to have a hysterectomy. Due to a woman's uterus and heavy bleeding, the Talking Married host requires surgery, which removes a woman's uterus. The 50-year-old wrote, 'I'm surprised at how overwhelmed and teary I feel about it.'

Shelly Horton has admitted that a confrontation with a sarcastic Uber driver left her in tears. The television actress, 49, was running late to a meeting when he became entangled with a parking attendant over a $9 fee. 'I really needed to get moving, and the stand-off between these two guys was ridiculous, so I suggested she pay the $9 bill.'

Phillip Douglas, a firefighter, told the Fatal Accident Inquiry that he and his coworkers were told not to leave the hotel, which is located on the banks of Loch Lomond, near Balloch, due to fears of demise. When the 35-year-old and his crew returned to school, he could not see much in the corridors and was using his feet and hands to check the area. He kicked what looked to be waste at one point, but it was actually Mr Dyson's leg that was lying on the ground covered in blood. A court had previously heard that the fire broke out after a night porter (pictured, top right) brought ash and embers from a fire into the cupboard, and the couple died of smoke inhalation.

Simon Midgley, 32, and his partner TV producer Richard Dyson, 38, of London, died as a result of the fire at the five-star Cameron House Hotel near Balloch on the banks of Loch Lomond in December 2017. At Paisley Sheriff Court, a fatal accident investigation into the deaths is being held. Fire and smoke escaped from the small room just off the reception area, according to a security camera video taken during the night of December 18th. Darren Robinson, the hotel's night manager, was on the courtroom and was shown a video of O'Malley shortly after the fire broke out, filling a black plastic bag with ashes and throwing it into the cupboard, which also stored kindling for the nearby fire.
