Career
Lin Yutang made his acting debut in the youth fantasy web series Proud of Love and its sequel in 2016.
In the 2018 version of Meteor Garden, based on the Japanese shôjo manga series Boys Over Flowers (, Hana Yori Dango) written by Yoko Kamio, Chen was cast as Huaze Lei by Angie Chai. In the November issue, he appeared in Harper's Bazaar China with his Meteor Garden costars Dylan Wang, Connor Leong, and Caesar Wu. Chen rose to fame after the series first appeared on Hunan television in 9 July 2018. With a guest appearance in the romance comedy Oversize Love, he was confirmed to make his big screen debut this year.
