After taking off from Miami International Airport on Monday due to a "potential mechanical problem," the airline has apologised, landing instead on the British island territory in the North Atlantic. According to passengers (tweets inset), it took almost ten hours for them to be served with food at the airport and there were only eight toilets available and no showers, while American Airlines staff went to their hotel. According to a Bermuda government spokesperson, the airline decided not to make reservations for the travelers.
