After a car slammed into her in Wakefield, West Yorkshire last month, PC Sam Woods posted a snapshot of the horrific head wound. The officer, who works on the local drug team, did not only have a bloody gas leak on her forehead, which needed stitches, and she has a scar, but also her leg and arm. During the incident on Friday, June 2, PC Woods did not know how badly she had been wounded straight away. 'It all went black, and then it was like I was back in the room.' It was a strange feeling because I didn't have any pain in my head.'
