Personal life
Ashley and Brittany are the two older sisters in Courtney's case. Adria, she's also got a younger half-sister. Force attended Esperanza High School in Anaheim, CA, where she was a cheerleader. She was involved in the Ford Fiesta campaign in 2009 and received the Internet's Most Popular Agent award. She is married to IndyCar racer Graham Rahal, the uncle of 1986 Indianapolis 500 champion Bobby Rahal. In May 2020, the two couples announced that they were expecting their first child; in November, Harlan Ann Rahal gave birth to her first child.
Drag racing career
Forces obtained their NHRA competition drivers license in 2005 and her Alcohol-Fuel license in 2008. She began racing in Super Comp before graduating to Top Alcohol Dragster (TA/D), with her sister Brittany in 2008. She reached the final round twice in 2009, at Seattle and Pomona, winning in Seattle. Force has competed her sister Brittany on three occasions, beating her every time. In the final event of 2009 at Pomona raceway, she ran a career best reaction time of.006.
Brandsource was the Force's primary sponsor through her Super Comp career and first year of Top Alcohol Dragster. Force received a sponsorship by Sanyo as well as Ford in 2009, as well as Ford.
Force obtained her NHRA Funny Car license during the 2011 season.
Traxxas was revealed on January 10, 2012, and Force's rookie season would be sponsored by Traxxas.
Force made her Funny Car debut at the 52nd annual O'Reilly Auto Parts NHRA World Internationals. She finished 12th in a 4.199 ET at 307.44 mph (494.78 km/h). She defeated Bob Tasca III in the first round of eliminations by a speed of 4.204 seconds (497.72 km/h). Despite running a career high 4.143 ET (505.14 km/h), she lost to teammate Mike Neff in the second round.
