To all of you in the United States, Happy Thanksgiving. For those outside of the United States, Thanksgiving is a magical time of year for families across the country, when we all come together to stop our in-laws, politics, and burning our houses down - yet every year, we fail. If you're looking for a game that will suit you, the National Football League has a packed slate of games planned for Turkey Day. To get our palates up, we'll start with the Bills and Lions. The Cowboys and Giants are likely to eat some of the points on our main course, and we hope it will be a feast. To top it all off, the Patriots will be heading to Minnesota to steal a game from the Vikings. On Sunday night, we will have two exciting games against the Eagles, while the Titans try to bounce back in primetime against the Bengals from last year's loss in the AFC Divisional round. It's time to stack the plate with football-themed stuff. Welcome to Week 12 of the NFL season. Here are our picks for games to keep an eye on...

We're now in the cooler months of the year. Don't believe us? Because there is a predicted six foot of snow, Buffalo will not host their home game against the Browns. Not six inches. Six FEET. As in up to 72 inches of snow. That's 1.83 METERS of snow for those in the United Kingdom. However, there is no safer way to melt all the cold stuff away than with a warm cup of football.
Dak is Bak!Cowboys' Prescott returns from thumb surgery on his throwing hand
www.dailymail.co.uk,
October 20, 2022
Dak Prescott is back in Dallas after thumb surgery on his throwing hand, not that the Cowboys were rushing him to return. Backup Cooper Rush went 4-1 in Prescott's position, but the Cowboys will still greet the visiting Detroit Lions on Sunday. 'Dak's been accepted to be a full participant,' coach Mike McCarthy said on Wednesday. Prescott and his colleagues played in a'mock game' on Wednesday and there was a plan to get a majority of the first team reps in Thursday's session. McCarthy said, 'We're doing everything we can to make sure we're giving him the opportunity to be ready.' The Cowboys didn't have to lean on Rush too much during a solid running game and defense. In any of his starts, he never ran for more than 235 yards. As the Eagles defeated Philadelphia on Sunday night, Prescott's injury may have finally caught up to Dallas in a division showdown with Philadelphia. Rush was kicked out three times.
Week 6: Bills-Chiefs Vikings-Dolphins; Ravens-Giants; Cowboys-Eagles; and others

October 13, 2022
We return for yet another series of professional football games after a weekend full of troubling roughing-the-passer calls and close finishes. In London last week, the Giants and Packers defense stunned the Rams, and both the Ravens and Eagles set game winning field goals to raise their records. This week, we feature both squads, an NFL team in serious quarterback trouble, the new chapter in one of the league's top rivalries, and a Game of the Week that recalls memories of one of the best playoff games in recent history.
Dak Prescott throws for the first time since thumb surgery
www.dailymail.co.uk,
October 13, 2022
For the first time since suffering a right thumb injury, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw passes on Wednesday, but Eagles quarterback Cooper Rush is expected to keep his starting position for Dallas against the Eagles. Prescott was injured in Week 1 when his hand was thrown to Buccaneer Shaq Barrett while throwing a pass, and Rush has started every game since. And while Prescott said he felt 'great' following his post-practice throwing session (he did not officially train with the team), Rush will continue to try to keep his unbeaten record alive.
Week 5: Packers-Giants, Ravens-Bengals, Eagles-Cardinals, and more

October 6, 2022
If Pittsburgh sticks with its quarterback heir apparent, the Eagles face a tougher test in the desert, the Rams look to get back to track, and an AFC North match could result in the departure of a new leader in the division. It all leads to our Game of the Week, when the Packers fly to London for the first time to face a Giants team that has defied all expectations.
Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys' owner, has refused to rule out Dak Prescott versus the Rams
www.dailymail.co.uk,
October 4, 2022
Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys' owner, has declined to deny Dak Prescott's chances of playing on Sunday versus Los Angeles. Jones discussed Dak Prescott's quick return to action, but Jones did not mention Cooper Rush as this week's starter. Prescott underwent surgery on his right thumb only 22 days ago and has continued to improve at a rate that has stunned some, as his Cowboys continue to triumph.
Dallas beat the Giants 23-16, earning Cooper Rush's third straight victory in a row

September 27, 2022
Owner Jerry Jones of the Cowboys will have seen more quarterback drama on Monday night after Cooper Rush went 3-0 in the wake of Dak Prescott's injury. As Dallas defeated the New York Giants on Monday night, the backup became the first undrafted QB to win each of his first three NFL starts and throw for 750 yards over 1,000 yards over those starts since Kurt Warner in 1999. With the Rams, Warner went on to win NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP. In winning his second straight game filling in for the injured Prescott, Rush threw for 210 yards, including a one-yarder touchdown to CeeDee Lamb.
When Dak Prescott responds to Jerry Jones, Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy says he believes he is their starting QB

September 24, 2022
Since owner Jerry Jones appeared to cheer the fight on Thursday, Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy downplayed the possibility of a quarterback controversy. When asked about the possibility of backup quarterback Cooper Rush losing power as Prescott's replacement, Jones told reporters, 'Of course I want it.' Prescott has been out since the Cowboys' opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after undergoing surgery to repair an injury to his right thumb.
Jerry Jones of the Cowboys is a fan of the QB controversy. He'll 'walk to New York' for another victory with Rush

Cowboys fans have been on a roller coaster for the past two weeks. Dallas didn't only lose their first game of the season to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but they also lost starting quarterback Dak Prescott for at least the next two weeks. They lost at home over the reigning AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals the next week under backup QB Cooper Rush's leadership.
Coach Mike McCarthy says he would not live without Kellen Moore in Dallas if Dak Prescott's career begins
www.dailymail.co.uk,
September 16, 2022
Following Dak Prescott's thumb injury, head coach Mike McCarthy called out offensive coordinator Kellen Moore on Friday, tensions are now raging in Dallas. The Cowboys are 0-1 after a deflating 19-3 victory to the Buccaneers in Week 1, and although Prescott will now miss six to eight weeks, according to ESPN, the offense wasn't exactly setting the world on fire before Prescott left the game in the fourth quarter. Let's be honest: In Kellen's time as a coordinator, he's been able to play very, very aggressively,' McCarthy said.
Even with backup QB Cooper Rush, Skip Bayless and the Cowboys will still play in the NFC Championship game

The Dallas Cowboys' season is over, but their most ardent supporter still believes they have a chance to not only make the playoffs but also win the conference championship game. The Cowboys were humiliated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who held 'America's Team' to just three points in week one. Not only that, but the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Washington Commanders all won, but Dallas starts last in the NFC East.
Five things we learned from Week 1 of the NFL season: Rodgers needs assistance, the Cowboys season is over, so the Cowboys season is over
www.dailymail.co.uk,
September 14, 2022
Week 1 of the NFL season was wild, with major injuries, turnovers galore, and last week's two game-winners giving fans at home unwarranted optimism. And all of that came from the Steelers' overtime match against the Bengals. With the first week of the season, we have already seen upsets, our first (and hopefully last) match of the season, and a slew of game winning field goals. Fans of the Packers, Patriots, and Rams all agreed to bed content, while Packers, Patriots, and Rams fans of the Packers, Patriots, and Boston Browns fell asleep in confusion and/or trepidation. Even though it's way too early to start writing teams or counting them out, we can still learn a lot from this first week of pro football.
Despite thumb surgery, the Dallas Cowboys have decided not to add Dak Prescott to the injured reserve list
www.dailymail.co.uk,
September 13, 2022
After repairing his right thumb with surgery, the Dallas Cowboys aren't putting quarterback Dak Prescott (right) on injured reserve, leaving the possibility that he might return in fewer than four games. Prescott, 29, underwent surgery on Monday, a day after being injured in the fourth quarter of a season-opening 19-3 loss at home to Tampa Bay. He was going through after receiving a pass when his right hand bent awkwardly after losing bad contact with rushing linebacker Shaq Barrett's raised hands.
Colin Kaepernick slams Stephen A. Smith's argument for the QB to the Dallas Cowboys
www.dailymail.co.uk,
September 13, 2022
Since Stephen A. Smith suggested Colin Kaepernick as a solution to the franchise's injury woes, Michael Irvin has canceled talk of the Dallas Cowboys bringing him in Colin Kaepernick. In one of the more interesting plays he has had for some time, Dak Prescott is expected to miss six to eight weeks due to a fractured right thumb. Smith speculated on the possibility of trolling the dice on the polarizing faded football-star-turned-activist on Monday's edition of First Taken. However, Irvin, who played for Dallas from 1988 to 1999, was completely elated at the mere mention of Kaepernick's name in connection with his beloved Cowboys.
Since injuring his throwing hand, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott needs SURGERY
www.dailymail.co.uk,
September 12, 2022
According to owner Jerry Jones, Dak Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys' star quarterback, will be out for 'a few weeks' and is headed for SURGERY after handing his hand in the team's Week 1 loss to the Buccaneers. In the fourth quarter, Prescott jogged to the locker room after being scrutinized by team physicians on the other side of the field, causing Cowboys fans to be afraid of the worst. Following Jones' announcement that Prescott is going to have surgery and will be out for at least the next few weeks, there is now that those worries have been confirmed.
Cooper Rush and Will Grier were recalled by the Cowboys, making Dak Prescott the only quarterback on the roster
www.dailymail.co.uk,

Teams often chop and change like this in order to maintain flexibility, and the Cowboys will be attempting to assess other players on the roster before playing their first game on September 11. Prescott will almost certainly have insurance for the Cowboys come week 1, either way. 'It's more of a formality right now as you're going through the roster to try to get the best 53 possible,' former Browns QB Brady Quinn said on CBS Sports. 'And then you're worried about the backup quarterback position.'
