Following the announcement that Princess Madeleine and her family will relocate to Stockholm in August 2023, just in time for Princess Adrienne, a four-year-old princess, to begin classes, blogger Gert's Royals announced on Twitter that children must be educated in Sweden to remain in the line of succession. In 2019, Madeleine was given "a bit of leeway" in her children's education in the United States, according to the blogger, but Princess Leonore, nine, Prince Nicolas, seven, and Princess Adrienne were uninsured if they went back to Sweden to be educated outside of Sweden as they got older.
