The BBC has been chastised for broadcasting episodes of The Thick of It starring convicted child murderer Chris Langham (left on camera) on iPlayer. Langham, 74, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his hard drive, which contained Level Five abuse, which was the most severe on the scale. The decision to bring the disgraced actor's face back on film comes at a time when the Beeb is being scrutinized over its handling of the Huw Edwards affair, after the host was revealed as being at the center of a pending sex scandal involving his wife. Armando Iannucci, the writer and producer of The Thick of It, announced that the show was back to screens, tweeting (inset): "Oh, by the way, every episode of The Thick Of It's been restored on BBC iPlayer."
