Steve Clarke is adamant that Che Adams hasn't turned his back on Scotland after pulling out of the squad to face Poland. Southampton's on-loan Newcastle winger bagged a brace and an assist to help Southampton beat the League Two side 4-0 and put down any lingering thoughts of a cupset, with youngster Sekou Mara and replacement Che Adams also on target. Southampton were heavily rotated by Russell Martin as he gave plenty of youngsters a chance to shine, but the Championship promotion-chasers didn't stop flowing on this freezing evening on the South Coast.

Martin's side won by 2-1 after Carlos Alcaraz and Che Adams' goals extended their undefeated run to 17 games. Martin's side defeated them for their fourth victory in a row, and no team in English football can match Saints' form, as they last saw defeat on September 23rd.
