Eddie Redmayne and Latasha Lynch's gritty new British series The Day Of The Jackal aired its first trailer on Saturday. The upcoming political thriller follows the 1973 film of the same name as the second English-language adaptation of the 1971 book of the same name.  Reimagined into a contemporary political setting, The Day Of The Jackal (2024) centres around an unrivalled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal, (Eddie) who makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee.  However, the Jackal meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana) who starts to track him down in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake. Also starring are Guardians Of The Galaxy's Chukwudi Iwuji and Game Of Thrones ' Charles Dance.

The Crown's Charles Dance left little to the imagination as he and girlfriend  Alessandra Masi topped up their tans on a nudist beach amid their getaway to the Spanish Island of Formentera on Saturday. The actor, 77, who played the older Louis Mountbatten in the Netflix series, showcased his toned physique as he strolled along the sands before taking a cool dip in the ocean.  Italian Alessandra, 55, also displayed her youthful figure and tied back her curly locks into a bun before joining the Game Of Thrones star in the water.

Camilla cut a 100 cake to celebrate the charity that supports veterans with mental and physical health problems who are returning to work (right). Meanwhile, Harry (inset) rode on the bobsled track in Whistler, B.C., where he and Meghan have travelled for three days to promote his Invictus Games, which aid veterans in finding meaning.

The Queen stayed busy today with a visit to Poppy makers at Clarence House. Camilla, 76, was born in a navy blue shirt dress to mark The Poppy Factory's centennial, which was established in the aftermath of the First World War. The event takes place 100 years since the charity's relocated to Richmond upon Thames, south west London, where it was located.
