The 25-year-old midfielder has turned down a proposed move to Brighton and is waiting for Chelsea to agree terms with Leicester after an opening bid was made on Friday. Chelsea are understood to have also mentioned David Fofana and midfielder Cesare Casadei as they look to reach an agreement.

Chelsea's mass injury crisis means Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino has named a bench against Tottenham with Cesare Casadei as the oldest outfield player at just 21-years-old. The Blues have named a bench that features 31-year-old goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli as the most senior player, but the majority of the outfield contingent are still in their teens, with only two stars over the age of 20.
Proud Bradford Bradford is stalemate and in apathy under a trigger-good yet absent owner who insists that football is not his thing

MATT BARLOW: Bradford City's week was marked by victory, but it will take much more to regain confidence at Valley Parade. Thousands of loyal and long-suffering supporters have been evicted as the season comes to an end, with Harrogate Town being ranked halfway down the fourth tier in a gruesome new local rivalry. Leeds United, on the other hand, are further into the distance, with sights on returning to the Premier League in the future. Bradford has spent five years in League Two. There is still a chance of a late play-off, but it will require a more drastic reversal of form.

LEWIS STEELE AT ANFIELD: Liverpool defeated Chelsea 4-1, keeping their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League intact. However, Darwin Nunez, a Liverpool striker, didn't score despite hitting the woodwork four times and establishing a new Premier League record, making it a mixed evening. Lewis Steele, Mail Sport's Liverpool reporter, gives his player evaluations from Anfield.
TRANSFER CONFIDENTIAL: Michael Edwards' return to Liverpool would make perfect sense, and Man United are trying to bind down a young celebrity, while Chelsea's £60 million price tag for Conor Gallagher puts the club off, although clubs are dissatisfied with the Chelsea's £60 million price tag for Conor Gallagher

SIMON JONES: Jurgen Klopp's pending departure, as well as sports director Jorg Schmadtke, has sparked a never ending discussion about how Liverpool will recover. One of the most common comments around Anfield is that it would be a good idea to tempt the club's former sports director Michael Edwards back to a new role. Edwards left Liverpool just over a year ago and was regarded as the brains behind Liverpool's impressive recruiting process. He's since founded Ludonautics, alongside Liverpool's former director of research Ian Graham, who is now working with a Premier League club and forming a Bolton Wanderers partnership last week.
Leicester was stunned by Chelsea's recalling Cesare Casadei from loan spell, but Leicester could land long-term target Stefano Sensi

Leicester was caught on the hop by Chelsea's decision to shorten Cesare Casadei's loan period with the Championship bosses, according to Enzo Maresca. The Italian midfielder had intended to spend the whole season at Leicester but was recalled to Stamford Bridge last Friday, leaving Leicester's squad a little depleted ahead of Monday's 1-1 draw with fellow high-fliers Ipswich. Casadei's departure, according to Mail Sport, could allow Maresca to bring in long-term target Stefano Sensi from Inter Milan, but Casadei left him stunned.

Chelsea has recalled Cesare Casadei, 21, from his loan spell with Leicester City, to give the young midfielder a chance to compete for a spot in Mauricio Pochettino's first team. TOM COLLOMOSSE AT CBS ARENA: A chink in the armour? Leicester has been nailed on to make an immediate return to the Premier League, but they must now show that this is not the start of a nightmare. Even with ten men, Enzo Maresca's Championship champions seemed to be edging to another victory thanks to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's first-half penalty. It all fell apart in the last ten minutes, as Callum O'Hare struck twice - either side of Milan van Ewijk's goal - to win Coventry a memorable victory. Leicester would point to the straight red card shown to Abdul Fatawu in the first half stoppage time, but really, it was a mess of their own creation. They lost their shape when O'Hare equalized, and they could not stop the flow even after the dam burst.

Two Millwall supporters have been jailed for mocking former Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's death ahead of the club's FA Cup third round tie. Two supporters were caught on social media making gestures referring to Srivaddhanaprabha's death in a helicopter crash back in 2018. In October 2018, the Thai billionaire was killed in the horrific crash that claimed the lives of workers Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, as well as co-pilot Eric Swaffer and his girlfriend Izabela Lechowicz.
Millwall 2-0 Leicester: Ruthless Foxes of Leicester demonstrated their class to advance to the fourth round in a thrilling fashion

Enzo Maresca as a boss had a dream FA Cup debut, so he was back on the road to Wembley. When Manchester City lifted the trophy last season, the Leicester manager was part of Pep Guardiola's coaching staff. But this was the first time he had led a team in the tournament, and Cesare Casadei, Rido Pereira, and Tom Cannon all made his day. Millwall, who scored goals of their own through Duncan Watmore and Zian Flemming, were often the better side of the game but had a few setbacks, but they had a slew of chances. And ruthless Leicester, the runaway Championship champions, showed their class to march into round four at a disappointingly half-empty Den.
Leicester beat Rotherham 3-0, with Patson Daka scoring a double against basement boys to help the Foxes close the gap at the top of the Championship table... with Cesare Casadei also on target

WILL PICKWORTH AT THE KING POWER STADIUM: Quite where Leicester ranks among the top Championship teams of the season and beyond will remain a discussion, but there is no doubt that Enzo Maresca's guys will feature in the top echelons of this list. Six teams have surpassed the 100-point mark, including the Foxes in 2013-14, and with 58 points from 23 games, they are on target to smash that record and defeat Reading's division-record 106 points in 2005-06. Maresca highlighted the importance of improving pre-game, but with their fifth victory in a row and 19 from 23, there is not much more his team can do after a triumph thanks to a brace from Patson Daka and one from Cesare Casadei.

Maresca's first victory in a row and 19 from 23, there isn't much more his team can do after a victory thanks to a brace from Patson Daka and one from Cesare Casadei.
