Some big names have been left out of Chelsea's US pre-season tour, with uncertainty over the futures of six players in particular.  The club have named a 28-man squad that will fly out to the United States, with their first game against Wrexham in California on Wednesday.  Enzo Maresca's side will then go on to face Celtic, Club America, Premier League rivals Manchester City, before concluding the tour with a game against Real Madrid in Charlotte, North Carolina on August 7. 

SIMON JONES: Chelsea have discussed a potential deal involving striker Armando Broja in their offer for Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The 25-year-old midfielder has turned down a proposed move to Brighton and is waiting for Chelsea to agree terms with Leicester after an opening bid was made on Friday. Chelsea are understood to have also mentioned David Fofana and midfielder Cesare Casadei as they look to reach an agreement.

Chelsea's mass injury crisis means Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino has named a bench against Tottenham with Cesare Casadei as the oldest outfield player at just 21-years-old. Two supporters were caught on social media making gestures referring to Srivaddhanaprabha's death in a helicopter crash back in 2018. In October 2018, the Thai billionaire was killed in the horrific crash that claimed the lives of workers Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, as well as co-pilot Eric Swaffer and his girlfriend Izabela Lechowicz.
