An investigation has revealed that more than 250 British celebrities, including Channel 4 newsreader Cathy Newman, have been affected by deepfake pornography. The investigation, which was conducted by Channel 4 itself, discovered that scores of celebrities' faces had been digitally altered footage of scores of celebrities of high-profile celebrities were superimposed onto pornographic videos using artificial intelligence (AI).
