In Monday afternoon's NHL Winter Classic at Fenway Park, Jake DeBrusk led the Boston Bruins to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins. With 2:24 seconds left in regulation, DeBrusk eliminated the winner after the play was interrupted after Taylor Hall was cut inside and had a backhand shot blocked by Penguins goaltender Casey DeSmith. It was DeBrusk's fifth goal and seventh point in the Bruins' last six games, who are 8-0-3 and have won four of their five all-time outdoor tournaments.
