Caroline Bowman (born May 10, 1988) is an American theatre actress who has appeared in many Broadway musicals, including Fame, Grease, Spamalot, Evita, Wicked, Kinky Boots, and soon will be on the national tour of Frozen.
Education
Bowman attended Glenelg High School in Howard County, Maryland, where she graduated in 2006. Bowman obtained a B.F.A. In 2010 from Pennsylvania State University, he received the Penn State Alumni Association Alumni Achievement Award for honoring alumni 35 and under.
Personal life

Career
Bowman appeared in China and Turkey as Rizzo before graduation and performed as Rizzo in Grease. She was also a member of the Young Columbians. Bowman returned from the United States as Lady of the Lake in the Spamalot national tour a few weeks after. Bowman was given an ensemble role in Wicked, shortly after the Spamalot tour and her transfer to New York City, understudying Elphaba's lead role. In 2013, Bowman left Wicked to create a new musical Kinky Boots. Eva Perón, however, left the company shortly after its Broadway premiere to join the Evita national tour.
Bowman was given the lead role of Elphaba in Wicked after the completion of the Evita tour in October 2014, beginning on December 16, 2014. Christine Dwyer was recalled by the Dwyer household. However, it was revealed in late February that Dwyer would return to Elphaba as emergency cover. Jennifer DiNoia had been back for a short time until Bowman returned to the show in early April. Bowman would leave Wicked in mid-September, according to Rachel Tucker, who would have succeeded her. Bowman resurfaced as Eva Perón in the Vancouver Opera's production of Evita, replacing the previously announced Jenn Colella, from April 30 to May 8, 2016.
