According to the Los Angeles Times, there were two particular instances of flashing lights that bothered the visitors, including Arizona boss Toby Lovullo. In the fifth inning, Will Smith hit an RBI single, and Diamondbacks reliever Carlos Vargas reportedly complained about the lights to umpires in the eighth inning as he was warming up to come in.
